“Maybe mix it up a little.”

“Cool.”

Now I get to enjoy it all over again...the deft fingers, the erotic grip, the kinky twist. My cock is now harder than wood, it’s a rod of fucking steel.

“Here we are,” Dani finally announces with a wide smile, placing each one in a small black box with her pink logo splashed on it.

Jeez, I’ve been smiling for so long my face is about to set.

She slides the two boxes of flowers in front of me, and I take a moment to appreciate the result of her efforts. The arrangements are exquisite, each bud perfectly positioned so that the bouquet is full and elegant yet delicate at the same time. Her choice of colors is spot on. White, pink, scarlet, turquoise, and a splash of vivid green, which gives a modern look.

I sniff the decadent perfume.Mmm, heaven sent. Much like the sexy flower angel who made them.

Dani has a wonderful gift. Plus a lot of other positive points.

“Perfection,” I say while extracting my platinum credit card from my wallet. “What do I owe you?”

“Um, seventy dollars each. Is that okay?” she asks, far too tentatively.

I stifle a laugh.A hundred and forty bucks? That’s small change for me.

“I’ll be paying two hundred for these masterpieces.”

“Two hundred?” she gasps, a hand clasping her chest.

“Each.”

She shakes her head. “What d’you mean...each?” she squeaks. “You’re kidding me, right?”

It’s adorable the way her brow scrunches up in a confused frown and her mouth gapes open.

“It’s your grand opening,” I say with a wink. “Believe me, they’re worth every cent. You’re an artist, own it.”

I’m about to smash her shop with a wrecking ball—I owe her a precious moment.

If that sounds harsh, well, yeah, it is.

But I’m not a heartless guy, far from it. Unfortunately, in my line of work, I sometimes have to do things that suck. I don’t enjoy causing distress, but it’s more often than not a necessary evil in the course of a successful business venture. Over the years, I’ve developed a thick skin to protect myself from the fallout.

Dani’s cheeks flush pink.Cute.She nods, “Very well then. Thank you for your generosity.”

She heads to her cash register and taps at the screen before placing the card reader in my hand for my card and pin.

After I do the business, she withdraws my card and passes it to me, taking a none too subtle glance at the card. “I do hope the recipients enjoy the flowers, Mr. Mountjoy.”

“No doubt they will.”

I grin, more to myself than her, as I slide one bouquet back towards her slowly and meaningfully. She stares at it and then at me, her brow furrowing with confusion.

“All yours, beautiful,” I adopt my best panty-melting tone. “Enjoy.”

“Mine?” she murmurs. “But why?”

“I’m a sucker for a pretty lady in a flower shop.”

She stares into my eyes. “But I’m surrounded by flowers... I don’t pretend to understand this.”

“No need. Just smile. Make my day.”
