EPILOGUE

Anna

I guess it’s not all that strange for a girl to have a crush on her boss. That’s kind of cliché, isn’t it? Well, I’ve definitely got a crush on my boss, and that wouldn’t be a problem under ordinary circumstances. In fact, it wouldn’t be a problem ninety nine percent of the time.

But now I’m doing my normal serving job.

And he’s at the table.

So, it’s kind of nerve wracking for me. Reuben is at the table with his friends Timothy and Grayson. There are other men there, too, and a bunch of ladies. Grayson is getting married and he and his fiancé, Vanessa, are having an engagement party here.

I’m nervous for a couple of reasons. I don’t want to ruin anyone’s engagement party, of course, so there’s that. I’m nervous because being around my crush is nerve-wracking. The biggest reason I’m nervous, though, has nothing to do with that. The biggest reason I’m nervous is because I know who these people are or, maybe a better way to put it is I know what they are.

They’re Daddies and little girls.

I didn’t know what the heck that was before working here. I know now. It isn’t like this place is BDSM central or anything but I know because I overheard Timothy and Reuben and Grayson talking at dinner one night.

And I know because Vanessa and I are becoming close friends after Grayson proposed to her right in the restaurant and she spilled wine all over me. That was a classic moment and I tease her at every opportunity that it’s the one thing I might get a viral video out of if I’d just been financing.

I know a lot about Daddy Dom and little girl relationships now. That comes from hours and hours of reading. I know a lot about it and I really, really want it. I guess if I wasn’t so terrified about spilling drinks or dropping plates, I might be really happy about my crush sitting at the table. At least that means he’s a Daddy, right?

I tell myself to concentrate on the tasks at hand, and I think it’s a pretty significant miracle that I manage to succeed. By the time everyone has dessert and after dinner drinks, I’m feeling pretty damned good about things. I like this job but it’s not my life, not my dreams. I want to succeed with something more creative. Until that miracle day happens, though, it feels good to take care of a large party like this one. I hate to be mercenary but the tips are needed and welcome.

And good.

I discover the tip is very, very good about a half hour later when everyone is gone. It’s enough of a tip that I’m sure there has to be a mistake but the look of bewilderment on my face must be obvious because Vanessa detours on her way out and says, “You earned that tip and you can’t argue about it.”

“My God!” I whisper.

“Shut up and just accept it,” she says with a giggle. “What are you doing tomorrow night?”

“The restaurant is closed on Mondays,” I say. “I’m free.”

“Good! You’re coming over. Daddy and I are having a few friends over.” I look at her and almost ask before I catch myself. She giggles again. I think she must giggle more than anyone I know. She smiles and say, “Yep. Reuben’s coming.”

“Count me in,” I say and then I’m the one giggling.

Did you enjoy Please Me Daddy’s Insistent Little Girl? I really fell in love with Grayson while I wrote this. I guess for me, the stricter the Daddy, the better! I fell in love with Vanessa, too, and I loved writing about their relationship. It seems to me they’re on their way to really enjoying their very happy happily ever after life. If any couple deserves that, it’s the two of them, right?

What do you think will happen with Anna and Reuben?

Anna Carrel has been an artist since she was five years old. She’s a surrealistic artist and her short films are always well received by critics. Of course, that doesn’t mean anything when critics are the only ones who ever see them! She’s discouraged and needs someone to help her stay true to herself. Reuben Tack is living his dream, his own four-star restaurant. He’s finally made it but this Daddy knows his life is empty without a little girl to share it with. Anna pays the bills by working at his restaurant. He wants her but how can he put time into a relationship when he has to keep things perfect for critics of his own work? Can these two find a way to cook up happily ever after for themselves?
