CHAPTER5

Rushing down the hall,I stood on the platformed area. My fingers wrapped around the railing as my eyes scanned the room for her. She wasn’t here. Everyone’s eyes were on their phones, I mean, of course they were.

My eyes landed on Regina who was still sitting where I told her too. Shit.

Running down the three steps and bowling through the crowd, I gave her an apologetic smile as I slipped back in.

“Sorry,” I smirked as I shrugged my shoulders up. “The queue for the little girl’s room was ridiculous.”

“It’s fine,” she disregarded my apology as her eyes were still pinned to the real-life Ken doll that was sitting in a booth not too far away.

I hated lying to her, but I didn’t want to risk anything and if anything, I didn’t want Fallon to make Regina’s life hell. So, if it meant I could protect her as well as myself then it was worth keeping the secret.

“Has something happened?” I asked as my eyes moved from him to her.

She shook her head from side to side.

“Regina…” I said with a little more warning in my tone.

“No, no nothing. Can we just go?” She rushed, moving from the booth and standing quickly.

“Sure, sure,” I nodded, slipping out and walking towards her. Grabbing her hand, I tugged her with me as we made our way through the crowd. Regina kept her eyes down the whole time, not lifting them until we were out the front of the gate keeper’s house.

She turned to look at me, her eyes bloodshot.

“Regina, what happened?” I whispered as I stepped towards her.

“Just the mean girls,” she sighed, shaking her head and letting it fall downwards.

“What did they do?” My blood instantly boiled at the mention of them.

“Warned me off Jude, told me they would make my life a living hell if I even thought about going near him.”

I shook my head, rage coursing through me as I listened to her.

“I won’t let them get near you, fuck them.” I hissed, pushing my hand through my hair in frustration. I hated that they picked on her like that. “Who was it who said it to you?” I asked, already knowing the answer before I even asked it.

“Fallon,” she whispered, “she came from the bathroom, saw Jude talking to me and then made a bee line for where I was sitting.” Her voice began to tremble.

“She can go suck a dick,” I growled, the blood was pumping fast through my veins. How the fuck could she go from being how she was with me to a complete bitch within seconds. Her pretty fucking façade was going to slip quickly if she wanted to continue this game.

I didn’t care if she gave me fanny flutters, she wasn’t going to treat my friend like that.

Storming across the green, I was too angry to tread cautiously. I didn’t care if I got caught, because if I did then I knew exactly where I was sending them. Regina was walking quickly behind me; I could tell she was nervous, but she had no need to be. There was no way I was going to let them bully her. Not on my watch.

We made it back to the dorms, I hugged Regina good night and told her I would meet her outside her room tomorrow instead of her coming here seeing as I had queen bitch a few doors away from me. Once she was in her room, I headed towards my own. It was a short walk, it’s a shame we weren’t on the same floor. It would make me less anxious about leaving her on her own. My only hope was they didn’t know what room number she was in.

Kicking off my boots, I tug my shorts and tights down before slipping into my plaid pyjama shorts. They were oversize and hardly flattering but they were comfortable. Discarding my body suit, I grabbed a vest top and pulled it over my head. Heading to the bathroom, I washed my face and brushed my teeth. It felt good to have the make-up off my skin. Switching the light off in the bathroom, I picked up my mobile from the side and walked over to my bed. Flopping down on it, I let out a heavy sigh as I slipped my laptop out from under my bed. Tonight was a film night. I felt too wired to go to sleep. I wish it was because the buzz of alcohol that was coursing through me, but it wasn’t.

It was her.

She consumed in ways I had never felt before. The tingles that spread over my heated skin at the flashbacks of this evening, the way she kissed me. Her tongue domineering our kiss, lashing at mine with force as I felt myself melt into her.

The heat was ablaze between my legs and my sex pulsed at the thought. I wanted her lips on my skin, nipping and sucking as she made her way down to my pussy.

I shut my thoughts down, opening my laptop and finding a film. I needed to rid my mind of Fallon.

I liked boys. I had been with boys. I lost my virginity to a boy… granted it wasn’t the best experience of my life, but whose was really.
