She moved closer to me, her hand gripping my chin, her face edging closer to mine. I could feel her warm, minty breath on my face as her lips pressed against the shell of my ear.

“You don’t tell me what to do, or who to stay away from. Listen to me when I say, I can make your life hell here. Be a good girl and keep your head down and stay out of my way.”

Her voice sent shivers across my skin before it erupted in goosebumps. My heart thumped in my chest, my stomach coiling and for some reason, I felt heat flood between the apex of my thighs.

“Sorry,” I whisper, pulling her hand from me. “I won’t be doing that… unless you leave Regina alone.”

She stepped away from me, dropping her head as she laughed for a moment. It wasn’t long before her green eyes were pinned to mine.

“You’ve just put a target on your back… well done,Ivy.” Her tongue ran across her top lip as her eyes fell to my heaving chest. “I’ll be seeing you, watch ya back princess.” She smirked, flicking her brown ponytail over her shoulder as she began to walk away.

“What if you’ve just put a target on your own back?” I called out, standing in the middle of the hallway.

She spun, laughing hard as her head fell back.

“No one puts a target on Fallon’s back, sweetheart.” She flipped me off, her tongue sticking out as she sunk her perfect white teeth into it.

Then she was gone.
