My clothes now take up more than half, something that Seb thankfully wasn’t all that bothered by, seeing as he’s not properly moved in here either.

“Right, we need something sexy,” I announce, rummaging through what I brought for options.

“Do not even attempt to get me in a dress. I’m good as I am,” Emmie shouts over the music.

Glancing over my shoulder, I take in her hot pants, fishnets and band tee.

Clearly reading the expression on my face, she holds up her finger, telling me to wait before pulling her shirt off and stealing my pink knife from the nightstand.

In only seconds she’s slashed across the neck and ripped the bottom of the shirt off.

She pulls it back on, adjusting it so it hangs low over one shoulder and shows off her slim waist.

“Right, so… just Calli to sort then.”

It’s over an hour later by the time we emerge from the apartment, much to the horror of the guy guarding the door.

He’s older than us, although not by that much, and clearly not old enough to make any attempt to cover up the fact that he’s totally checking each one of us out.

“We’re going out,” I tell him, my voice slightly slurred but full of confidence as I step toward him with my shoulders thrown back.

“I don’t think so. We’re under strict instructions to—”

“Do you always do what you’re told…?”

“Carl,” he finishes for me.

“Do you always do what you’re told, Carl?” I damn near purr, my voice dripping with sex appeal.

“If I want to stay alive, yes.”

“How about I come up with a way for you to break the rules but still be breathing in the morning?”

“Fucking knew I shouldn’t have taken this job,” he mutters to himself while blatantly checking out my tits.

Good to know my dress is doing half the work for me tonight.

“Right well, you take us to The Avenue, and I won’t send Seb that video of you checking me out,” I say nodding to where Emmie is holding her cell. “And I’ll convince him that this was all my fault and take your punishment from him.” I wink at him and he groans. “Be a good boy and we might even let you dance with us.”

“That’s a surefire way to end up with a bullet in my head.”

Crossing my arms under my breasts, pushing them up that bit higher, I wait for him to make a decision.

“Cass,” he calls, and not a second later does the other guy appear from the garage. “We’re heading out.”

“Uh…” He looks between Carl and me. “You sure about this, man?”

“Nope.”

I can’t help but laugh as Carl moves toward his car.

“Good choice, Carl. I’d hate to have to get your blood on my pretty new knife.” I pull it from where I’ve got it strapped to my thigh and flick it open.

“Boss was right,” Cass mutters. “She is just as bad as the boys.”

“Worse,” I tell him, pulling open the passenger door of Carl’s car and dropping into the seat before Cass has a chance.
