“We start at seven, so make sure you’re ready,” Ash smirks, swiping the bottle from my hand when I offer it over.

“I’m always fucking ready. Excuse me.”

Finally pushing up from the sofa, I walk right up to my girl, drag her from Ruby, and pull her into my body.

“Dance with me.”

“Demanding asshole.”

“You love it,” I growl in her ear, gripping her ass and holding her against me.

“Seb,” she cries when I drop my face into the crook of her neck, sucking on her soft skin before biting down until it hurts.

A loud pounding on the door startles me, and my first reaction is to throw myself over Stella’s sleeping body.

“What the fuck, asshole?” she hisses, her voice all rough and sexy with sleep.

“S-sorry,” I say, my surroundings coming back to me.

“Get the hell up, motherfucker,” a deep voice booms through the door.

“Aw, fuck.”

“Fuck off, Kyle,” Stella calls. “It’s too fucking early for this shit.”

“No can do, girl. Your boy told us he’d be ready for a session this morning.”

“Really?” she hisses at me. “You agreed to work out with those assholes first thing on a Sunday morning?”

I shrug. “Sorry, baby,” I say, rolling over her with a very different intention this time. “Gotta show them how it’s really done.”

“And to think, I was expecting you to stay here and show me how it’s done.” Her voice is pure sex, and I instantly regret ever agreeing to this plan.

“Go back to sleep. I’ll wake you when I’m back.” Dipping my head to her ear, I growl, “With my tongue.”

“You’re full of shit, Seb.”

“And you should be full of me.”

I climb from the bed and walk naked to the bathroom.

“Big words for someone who’s about to leave me in favor of hanging out with my friends.”

I can’t help but laugh as I take a piss, trying to ignore the rhythmic banging that’s taken up residence in my head.

Fucking vodka.

By the time I emerge from the bathroom to find something to work out in, Stella is asleep again.

Walking over, I gently brush a strand of hair out of her face and tuck it behind her ear.

“Sweet dreams, Princess,” I whisper, dropping a kiss to her brow.

“Ah, he is alive,” Kyle booms the second I round the corner into the kitchen. I’m about to bark back when the sight of a woman sitting at the counter with a coffee stops me.

“Um… hey, I’m Seb.”
