CHAPTERSEVENTEEN

Stella

“Go and get dressed,” Seb whispers in my ear. “I’m taking you out.”

Twisting around on the sun lounger I’m resting on with the girls, I find him sitting on his haunches, wearing a pair of ripped jeans and a fitted black shirt. His hair is freshly styled and the scruff on his chin has finally seen a shaver. He looks like he did when we first met.

Hot as fuck.

“Y-yeah, okay. Where are we going?” I ask, although from what he’s wearing, I’m guessing it’s not anywhere fancy.

“Just go and put something sexy on, Hellion.”

The second I’m off of the lounger, he drops onto it.

“So what were we talking about, ladies?” he asks Harley, Ruby and Poppy. “Stella was telling you all just how insane my dick is, right?”

“Fucking hell,” I mutter, walking into the house, not wanting to know if they humor him or tell him the truth about the fact that we were talking about the new cheer routine Ruby is choreographing with Chelsea’s help.

The guys’ voices rumble down from the den, but I ignore them and make my way up to my room to get ready.

I pull on a pair of skinny jeans and a sweater before applying some mascara and gloss and freshening up my hair.

I stand and look at myself in the full-length mirror before I leave the room.

Not bad for a rush job.

I smile as I think about the fact that he probably wants me in a slutty little dress like last night.

I laugh to myself as I pull the door open.

He thinks he’s got away with all his bullshit so easily. Does he really think I’d forget all about his asshole behavior just because he got on a plane and hopped over the Atlantic? Does he not know me at all?

“I’m ready,” I call from the sliding doors that lead out to where we were hanging out around the pool.

Seb gets up from the lounger and stalks my way, his annoyingly hot swagger making my mouth water.

Why does he have to be the human version of my kryptonite?

“You look beautiful, Princess,” he breathes, running his eyes down my body before zeroing in on my glossy red lips.

“Uh-uh,” I say, pressing my hand to the center of his chest when he leans in for a kiss. “Unless you want to go out covered in my gloss.”

“As long as it’s yours, I couldn’t give a fuck, Hellion,” he growls, edging closer.

“Seb,” I warn when his nose touches mine.

His eyes crinkle with his smile before he ducks to the side and nuzzles my neck instead.

“Fuck. You smell good enough to eat. Maybe we should just stay in.”

“Nah, you promised me food. We’re going.”

“Did I?” he mutters between kisses. “I don’t remember promising anything.”

“Well in my head you did, so let’s go. I’m going to need some sustenance for what I’m sure you’re planning.”

He chuckles darkly.
