“Ah. You’re worried I’m gonna drug and murder you in the privacy of our own room?” She didn’t answer, but the way she glanced at her feet made me burst into laughter. “Seriously, Ivy? Youstillthink I’m going to murder you?”

“No. It’s not that. It’s just ... you know. Sharing a room with you is kinda ... intimate.”

“I’ll be a gentleman, I promise. And if you aren’t comfortable in the room with me, you can always sit in the general seating area. Your ticket includes both.”

“Oh. Okay,” she answered quickly.

“So, we doing this? Because we have to haul ass to the train station if we want to get there in time. If we miss this one, we’re stuck in Sandusky until tomorrow.”

She took a deep breath, and then that smile returned. “Okay! Let’s do this. We’re going on the train!”
