‘Let me guess, you don’t want me interfering? You can’t have someone “dangerous” damaging your reputation.’
She put her coffee down with a thump. ‘You misunderstand me, Sergeant Poe,’ she said. ‘Dangerous is the only thing that can save Miss Doyle right now. Tell me what you need.’
