He cradled the back of my head, urging my lips to his once more, when the distant sound of a buzzer ripped through the silence, forcing us apart.
“Speaking of cakes, I suppose we should finish up on the one we already started. Don’t you think?” I cocked a brow.
“I have no desire to leave this bed.” He grinned deviously. “Unless it’s to fuck you in the shower. Or on the lanai. Or on any other surface within these four walls. I’m an equal opportunity lady fucker.”
I playfully swatted him away. “And I’d rather not burn down this house.” I managed to duck out from beneath him and stood, placing my hands on my hips, wearing nothing but my heels. “Let’s go finish what we started.” I narrowed my gaze, noticing his erection already returning to life. “I’ll put the apron back on.”
He jumped to his feet, dragging my body to his. “You don’t have to ask me twice.”
