She choked on a laugh. “That’s not the point.”

“Baby, it’s exactly the point. We’ll talk about this some more, all right? And I’ll do some research before we play with it again.”

“What kind of research?”

He wiggled his fingers. “The internet kind. I don’t know anyone personally who does humiliation play. Unless…”

“What?”

“Jack might have some experience,” he said, and arched an eyebrow in question. “Are you all right if I talk to him about it?”

She thought of their friend with some alarm. “I don’t know if I want you getting play tips from a sadist.”

He grinned. “I’ve gotten plenty of play tips from him.”

Her eyes narrowed. “Which ones?”

“You liked all of them,” he assured her.

“Hmmm.” She narrowed her eyes at him. “Okay, you can talk to him. But I want to know what he says. And we’ll talk before we go any further, right?”

“Deal.” He leaned his forehead against hers. “You know I love you, Mandy.”

She sighed. It always made her go mushy when he called her Mandy. “I know. I love you, too.”

He kissed her again. “I’m hungry. Want to go out for lunch?”

“I haven’t even had breakfast yet,” she protested.

“That’s because you slept until almost eleven,” he pointed out, and gave her a last, smacking kiss before nudging her off his lap. “If it makes you feel better, we can call it brunch.”

“Fine.” She headed for the stairs, then paused with her foot on the bottom step to frown at him. “The electric fly swatter was Jack’s idea, wasn’t it?”

He just grinned and started up the stairs, leaving her to follow, wondering what she’d gotten herself into.
