Salvador shook his head. “They’re going to test Eddie’s DNA against Lia’s, but Brandy has a half sister who’s not Lia. And Lia... Lia matched with a half brother. A half brother whose father was arrested several times for sexual assault. He later died during an attempted rape.”
Guilt from my past slammed into me. “Who was it?”
Salvador paused. “It was Wayne, Ruthie. Wayne Montgomery.”
“No.”
