I drop her bags inside the apartment, then shut and lock the door behind me. She’s not getting away tonight.
I wrap my arms around her waist from behind, resting my chin on her shoulder. “Thisis what Rae and I were doing together. She was helping me set all this up.”
She steps away from me and looks around. “I can’t believe I called her a hussy.”
I choke out a laugh. “You’re ridiculous.”
She strides to me and wraps her arms around my neck. “I love you.”
“You already said that.”
“I’m just making up for lost time.” She glances down the hallway, then looks up at me seductively.
“Lost time, huh?”
“Mhm,” she mumbles, kissing me as she pulls at the hem of my shirt.
In one swift motion, I sweep her into my arms, leaving her gaping at me in surprise as I carry her down the hallway and intoourbedroom. I set her on the bed and climb over top of her.
As her fingers slide into my hair, I’m overcome with emotion.
“Don’t ever leave me again, Señorita. Please don’t leave me.”
“Never, baby. Never ever. I promise I’ll protect us with everything inside me from this moment on.”
She leans up and presses her lips against mine, sending emotion flowing from her body into mine. She’s sealing the deal, telling me how much she means it.
I slide my hand into her soft hair, twirling pieces of it around my fingers as we kiss.
As we pull apart, I slowly and carefully begin undressing her, dropping one piece of clothing on the floor at a time until she’s naked, her beautiful bump on full display.
I start there, kissing all over her stomach before making my way up her body.
“Nick,” she pants, grabbing my arms and urging me to move faster. But I look at her and smile.
“Uh-uh. Tonight we’re taking this slow. I’m going to kiss everywhere on your gorgeous body before I even dream of doing anything else.”
I don’t let her answer. I lean down and start kissing, letting my lips tell her everything she needs to know… how much I care for her, how loved she is, that she deserves the world, and that I’m going to be the one to give it to herevery single day.
