“What slipped your mind?” Joan asked.

“That she always took her pill before bed, part of her nightly routine,” Luke expanded. “Only we didn’t have them with us, and two tiny miracles happened.”

“So unfair, why does the greatest guy I’ve ever known have to be my brother?” Angela asked hugging him. “Be good to her.”

“Always, I don’t plan on seeing anything other than a smile on her face for a long time,” Luke assured them.

“Very good to hear son,” Wren said hugging them both. “If there’s anything you need, any time, any day, just let us know Dani. We can’t wait to meet our grandbabies.”

“Let’s keep them right where they are for at least another five months,” Dani suggested with a huge smile.

“Absolutely,” Joan agreed. “I take it this means that you’re going to be staying home more so Wren is completely correct. If you need anything while Luke’s not home just say the word and we’ll be here.”

“That goes for me too,” Angela stated.

“And me,” Tyler added. “Guess it’s time I admit defeat huh big brother?”

“You got it,” Luke said. “And while we’re sharing this with you, we don’t want the media getting hold of it just yet. We want it to stay special.”

“I won’t say a single word to anyone, not in confirmation or denial,” Tyler promised as all eyes travelled to him.

“But that bump might speak for itself fairly soon,” Angela hinted.

“We’ve got plenty of ways to offset it until it’s time for the big reveal. I figure that’ll be when I’m as big as a house and no one will believe it’s just the way the shirt’s made,” Dani joked letting the happiness of the moment take over and keep her there.
