Hallie thoughtabout Gerri’s question for a minute. Was she up for it? Did she want to stalk some guy who was completely opposed to being set up with someone in the hopes of meeting and falling head over heels?

She remembered seeing his perfectly chiseled body and being jealous of each droplet of water that ran down said body.

“What if he doesn’t like me? What if I’m not his type?” Hallie couldn’t help but feel a bit worried when it came to her body. Some guys liked curvy girls. Others, generally those who looked like the man on the pier, preferred those who looked more like supermodels.

“You are exactly his type. I met him and got a feel for what type of man he is and what he’s looking for. You have nothing to worry about. You are a beautiful, curvy woman with just the right amount of spunk and sass. You are going to turn his world upside down. I promise.”

She let Gerri’s words sink into her mind. The fact that Gerri had set Sierra up with the love of her life was a huge bonus. It showed that she knew what she was doing and had a good track record. What it came down to was trust. Could she trust she would have the same results with Gerri, or would she end up making an ass out of herself?

“What the hell? Why not? It’s not like I have any other prospects at the moment.” A tinge of excitement passed through Hallie. What she was about to do was so far out of her comfort zone that it wasn’t even funny. She had never pursued a guy … any guy. Let alone one who looked like Rev, But she was going to place her trust, for the time being, in Sierra and Gerri. What’s the worst thing that could happen? He’d turn her down? She would live through the disappointment. The question she asked herself was could she live with not even trying.

That turned out to be the easiest answer. She wasn’t the type of person who walked away from challenges or adventures. She wanted epic stories to tell her kids someday.

Hallie hopped in her Jeep and pulled away from her meeting with Gerri, feeling more optimistic than she had in months. She thought about the naked, sexy stranger and what it would mean to get to know him. She was so out of practice when it came to dating that she had no idea how the hell she was going to pull this off.

She steered onto the road and back toward Bayou Rouge. There was no better time than the present to set their plan in motion.
