“You’ll see, babe. It will be fun,” a feminine voice called from behind us.
Before he could say anything else, Kenny clapped her hands drawing everyone’s attention to where she stood by the doors with Josh who was rolling out another yoga mat.
Right in front of Dixon and me.
“All right, everyone. Josh is going to lead you through a warmup while I go out and get the goats over here. Once I let them in, remember to be nice even if they forget their manners.”
Everyone but Dixon and I snickered, and I had a bad feeling I knew what that meant. And why Charlotte brought a change of clothes.
“We’re planning on leaving time at the end for pictures and petting, but I may switch that to the beginning if the goats are too excited when they first come in.” Kenny shrugged. “This is a trial run so we’ll see how it goes.”
“Okay, friends,” Josh said as Kenny left and started across the pasture to the barn. “Let’s all start in a comfortable seat.”
Josh sat on the mat in front of us, leaving Dixon and I no choice but to do the same. Except what we’d thought was the back of the room was now the front and all the women were behind us.
“I think Toby and I should move, Josh,” Dixon suggested. “We’re not going to know what we’re doing.”
“That’s all the more reason for you to be right up front,” Josh replied with a smirk. “That way I can keep an eye on you and make sure you’re both doing the poses correctly. Bad form can cause injuries.”
We’d been manipulated and tricked, and I wanted to be mad, but I could hear Charlotte laughing behind me, so I sucked it up and decided to have fun.
What’s the worst that could happen?
