Arlo
I’ve been marriedto the girl of my dreams for two years now. We got married about four months after I proposed. I couldn’t wait to make her my wife and I practically ran her to the alter. Luckily for me, she was just as excited. Our wedding was pretty small; just our families and a few friends and colleagues.
Briar looked like an angel in her white lace dress and I had to wipe my chin several times to make sure that I wasn’t drooling. We went to the Bahamas for our honeymoon and I vowed to take her back every year for our anniversary. Briar had loved it there and I had loved seeing her happy… and in a bikini.
We went back last year and rented a villa. We frolicked on the pink sand beaches and swam in the surf before we went back to our place and made love each night. It really was heaven.
There was a storm this year and we had to push it back a couple of weeks until the weather was better. We just landed an hour ago and I’m carrying my very sleepy wife inside right now. There was bad weather in New Orleans and we were delayed so we got here later than usual.
We’ll start our vacation tomorrow after we get some rest. I was waiting until we were here to bring something up and I had been hoping to do it tonight but as I look down at my sleepy wife, I know it will have to wait.
It’s been just the two of us for the last two years and I’m grateful for the time I’ve had Briar to myself but now, I’m ready to start the next chapter.
A family.
I can’t wait to see Briar round with our child, to see her cradling our babies or chasing around after them. I just need to talk to Briar and make sure that she agrees that it’s time for us to take this step. I’ve been dropping hints for the last couple of weeks that we might want to start thinking about it but she hasn’t said anything about it to me.
I tuck Briar into bed before I go back to the car to grab our luggage. I bring the suitcases inside before I lock up the house and make my way back to my wife. I set the suitcases by the dresser before I brush my teeth and strip off my clothes. I make my way over to my side of the bed and slip under the covers next to Briar. I roll over onto my side and wrap my arms around her waist, pulling her into me.
I jerk when her naked body comes into contact with mine and look at her face. Briar’s eyes are closed but she has the biggest grin on her face. She peeks one eye open, looking at me and when she sees me watching her, she starts to giggle.
“What’s this about?” I ask as my hands slide down her body.
“Well, all this talk about babies has gotten me thinking… I’m ready to start a family with you and I know that you are too. Just so you know, your hints are not subtle.”
I smile at her then and tug her further into me.
“We’re going to have a baby?” I ask, excitement clear in my voice.
“Well, I thought that maybe you’d want to start trying for one now.”
She pushes her hips into mine and grinds against my erection. I kick off my pajama pants and roll her under me.
“God, I love you.”
“I love you, too.”
My mouth meets her then and we start the best vacation that I’ve ever had.
