“What the fuck are you two looking at?” Maddox growls, putting out his cigar and tossing it in the ashtray.

Rogan quickly turns off his phone and slips it into his pocket. “Just bragging about the horsepower in the new engine I’m having installed in the Bugatti.”

Maddox rolls his eyes. “My G Wagon will steamroll your stupid Bugatti faster than you can get your dick hard.”

Rogan glances at me, then down at his lap—we’re both dealing with massive erections—then back up at me, and we both just burst out laughing, which seems to infuriate Maddox even more. He storms off, and Rogan and I laugh even harder. It’s one of those belly laughs where you actually run out of air and your laughs become silent. Fuck, I needed that. This is one of the first nights I have enjoyed my brothers’ company without drugs, and it’s all thanks to Rory O’Brien.

After watching Rory then laughing with my brother, I almost forget about the drugs in my pocket. Maybe it is possible for me to ditch them, I just need a good distraction. Every moment I’m with Rory, I forget about my pain and addiction because all I want is her. My little kitten, the one thing I wish to become addicted to, if she would only let me.

But three things are true about all of us Dixens—we never give up, we never give in, and we don’t stop until we get what we want.

I’m coming for you, Rory, and once I get you, I’m never letting go.
