I curl up in a ball on the floor, biting my lip so hard it bleeds.

Theylied.

They’ve been lying this whole time.

The betrayal cuts deeply, and tears drip down my cheeks as I scream into my palm.

I grip Hannah’s picture tightly as I tremble, nausea pooling in my stomach.

I can’t stay here any longer.

Pick yourself up off the floor, Olive.

As I do, anger bubbles in me.

Anger for Hannah. Rage at myself for being so stupid by thinking I could trust these men.

These putridAlphas, who are no better than the ones that frequentEden.

Killian, Dylan, and Brock.

All liars.

All monsters.

I can’t do this anymore.

I make my way down to the kitchen, following their quiet chatter. All three of them are sitting at the dining table, speaking in hushed whispers.

They stand up when they see me, each with a different amount of concern on their face.

“What’s wrong, beautiful?” Killian asks immediately, taking a step towards me. He’s dressed in dark jeans and a black short-sleeved shirt, his tattoos on full display.

He looks like the devil.

One more step and he reaches out to me, about to put his arm around my shoulder. But I shove him, hard. He wasn’t expecting it, and he stumbles a bit.

Good.

“Sweetheart, what—” Dylan starts, but I hold up the picture, my eyes darting to all three of them.

Brock visibly pales.

Dylan freezes, his emerald eyes as wide as saucers.

Killian swallows and sighs, his face defeated.

I glare at them, fury racing through my veins.

“Who is Hannah?”
