It’s a secret we’ll take to our grave.

But I hope it haunts Brock the most.

I may be fucked up, but I’m not as delusional as him.

“Natalie Scott was a security risk,” the public relations person forEdenexplains to the journalist. “To herself, and to the guest. Our tactics do not permanently damage the Omegas. She’s being treated by our team of expert psychologists and psychiatrists, and she’s doing much better. Just as Hannah Matthews is.”

I shiver at the name.

And as I turn to grab the remote, I catch Brock out of the corner of my eye, pale as a ghost.

His jaw twitches, and he looks like he might vomit.

Clearly, he was watching.

“Alphas!”

Olive’s half-moan, half scream permeates the loft, and Brock flicks his eyes to me. Dylan comes running out of nowhere, panting as he looks at me and his brother.

“Go to her,” Brock snarls, walking the opposite way. The self-loathing is evident in his eyes as he storms off.

A quiet moan comes from the bedroom, and Dylan and I hurry down the hallway.

I don’t have time for Brock’s hissy fit.

All that matters is taking care ofher.
