HARLEY

Rubbing my eyes, I wake with a smile on my face. I wince as the muscles in my legs complain as I stretch.

Last night, Josie and I danced for hours. Shouting lyrics, downing drinks, bouncing from one club to another, until all of them locked their doors, and turned their music off. We got ice cream and sat on a bench for a long time, talking, laughing, telling each other stories. It was one of the best—if notthebest—night of my life.

Turning my head, my gaze lands on Josie. Her cheek is pressed to the pillow and her long blonde hair trailing in waves across the stark white sheet. It only covers a small part of her lower back, exposing the smooth skin of her shoulders and backside.

She is perfect.

Rolling over, I trail my fingers down the side of her body and squeeze her ass.

“Mm,” she moans softly.

“Morning, sweetheart.”

“Good morning,” she mumbles sleepily.

She shifts so that she gazes up at me and my eyes focus on a couple of dark hickeys across the base of her throat. I wince. I must have been pretty drunk to do that. What am I, seventeen again?

Her palms press against my chest, flattening me onto my back. She straddles my hips and pure heat rushes to my groin as I feel all of her pressed against all of me. No fabric is between us and I feel how much she wants me, and she can feel how muchIwant her.

My hands rest on her bare waist and I stare at her stunning body. Blonde hair falls over her face as she shifts her hips sinfully against mine and I groan, pushing my erection hard into her.

This entire weekend has been something of a dream. I can’t believe I’m here with her.

Four fucking yearsI waited for her to come back. To see her. To explain everything. I still can’t quite comprehend that she finallylistened.

The dazed smile on my face slowly dips into a frown. She pauses for a moment, staring.

“What’s wrong?”

“This is the last day,” I say, glancing at the clock on the bedside table. Eight o’clock. We have to be out of the hotel by ten. I don’t want to leave. Reality sucks. This is way better. “I don’t want this to end.”

Her hands glide over my chest and down my stomach, making my insides coil and uncoil with each sensitive touch.

“This isn’t going to end,” she replies. “We’ve both wasted far too much time not being together to let this end now.”

“I don’t mean us. I mean this weekend. Returning back to that place. Back to our everyday life.”

“Fern Grove is a much better place, now that we are together in it.”

I open my mouth to reply but she slides unbearably slow onto me. I moan at the feel of how tight and wet she is. She grinds herself into me, pushing me deeper, and throws her hair lusciously over her shoulders.

She is a god damn fucking Goddess.

She rolls her hips and I thrust upward. She bites her lip, eyes fluttering closed briefly before they open and stare straight into mine.

“I love you,” she whimpers.

I thrust hard, plunging myself as far into her as I can go.

“I love you more,” I gasp, fingers tightening around her hip bones.

I’m my best self when I’m with her. It’s always been like that. She’s good, and it made me want to be good. I never felt I needed to prove myself for anyone, until I noticed her. She had always been there, but one day, everything changed.

She threw her head back and laughed. It caught my attention. I swivelled my eyes to her, seeing the golden sunlight glow across her pretty face. Pulling her hair behind her ear, she turned her head towards me. Our eyes met and it felt like I had been hit by a truck.

I blink back to the present. My fingers play with her as she rides me faster. Sweat slides down my forehead as I meet the rhythm of her hips. I feel her clench around me. I press harder into her at the same time I buck my hips.
