“I’ve always noticed you, Josie,” he answers. “And you’ve never been unhappy. Until now.”

“Who says I’m unhappy?”

“Me,” he replies simply before his finger moves further into a place I’ve longed to be touched. “Does he make you feel like this?”

My breaths are coming out short and fast.

“Does he touch you like I do?”

A gasp leaves me as his finger slides inside of me. Fast at first, then slow and deliberate a moment later.

“Harley,” I groan, and he pushes again. I feel my underwear dampen even more. My eyes close as he inserts another finger.

“Say it again.”

My head falls back against the door as he adds pressure to a part of my body only I’ve ever touched.

“Harley,” I breathe, feeling my insides coil in pleasure.

“Good girl.”

I moan as I relax into the feeling threatening to consume me. I forget that this is wrong. It feels too good to think about anything else right now.

Our breathing fills the air as he quickens his movement. Heat sears in my stomach, and I throw my face into his shoulder, biting him as I let out a whimper. Something I’ve never felt before crashes through my body, igniting me. Everything around me blurs into a blissful daze as I tighten around his fingers.

A few seconds later, I blink back to reality. My legs tense and tremble, barely holding me up.

Grinning as if he’s won some sort of prize, Harley removes his fingers from me and steps back. Eyes locking on mine, he slowly raises his fingers to his mouth and sucks on them. I’m frozen, completely mesmerised by him.

Pressing my thighs together, I watch him lick my arousal from his skin. My cheeks flood with heat.

“You still got that boyfriend?” he asks me.

Without another word, he shoulders around me and opens the door. I stumble out of the way, my knees knocking together. My hand is on my chest, trying to stop my heart from leaping out of it.

I readjust myself and rake my fingers through my hair. I exit the classroom, still feeling flustered and extremely turned on.

I’ve dreamed—many times—about how that would feel. I never expected it to feel so fucking good. And so fucking bad.

“Hey, you,” Elise greets me, flicking her long hair over her shoulder. She pauses, eyeing me. “Did you and Nick just have a little rendezvous? What’s that on your neck?”

My fingers fly to my neck, where Harley’s lips were moments ago.

“What? Oh …”

Elise grins, nudging me. “So, you’ve sealed the deal, right?”

“Hmm?”

“With Nick?” She rolls her eyes. “You never give me any details!”

Just then, the bell overhead rings loudly, and relief washes over me. Students spill into the hallway, hurrying to get to class. Nick’s head bobs through the crowd, his face lighting up when he sees me. Elise has drifted, talking to someone, and I’m again relieved that she hasn’t noticed that I was not, in fact, with Nick moments ago.

“Hey.” He plants a kiss on my cheek, curling his arm around me. “I feel like I haven’t seen you all day.”

Suddenly, I feel cold. I fold my arms around me, wishing I could be anyone else right now.

Because the arm around me isn’t the arm I want anymore, and I have no idea what I’m going to do about it.
