Lesley kissed his chest and got out of bed. “I’ve got this.” She came back a minute later with a bowl of water and a washcloth.

“Wish I’da had you as my nurse,” he said, as he watched her set up next to him.

“I’d have been fired.” She disposed of the condom and dipped the washcloth into the water before rubbing it down his chest.

“Think so?” Antony closed his eyes and sighed contentedly.

“I don’t think hospitals take kindly to staff riding the patients.” Lesley trailed the washcloth over his cock and down in between his legs.

Antony peered at her through cracked eyelids. She wrapped the cloth around him and wiped gently before giving him a squeeze and stroking him a few times.

“Tease.”

“It’s not teasing if I don’t stop.”

Antony grabbed the water bottle off the nightstand and took a long drink. “Yep, you’d’ve been fired.” He set the bottle back down before grabbing her hand and taking the cloth away.

“Told you,” she said, settling back as he shoved her down on the bed.

He cupped her pussy with the damp rag and rubbed gently until her breathing sped up.

“Who’s the tease now?” she gasped, as he dipped a finger inside of her.

“Not teasing, Lesley,” he said, as he settled in between her legs. “And I’m certainly not going to stop.

CHAPTER NINETEEN

Monday morning rolled around and Antony felt like he could dance his way into the office. He was the first one in and spent a few minutes setting up the coffeepot and turning all the systems on. The answering machine blinked a red number two, but he left it alone. The team had gotten into the habit of listening to the messages together. He checked the paperwork on the tables while the systems booted and the coffee brewed, and seeing that everything was in order, he sat down at his computer to check email.

Randall arrived first, followed shortly by Lieutenant Drummond. Randall stopped at the coffeepot, filling his travel mug. Antony had decided long ago that Top didn’t subsist on anything except equal parts caffeine and sarcasm, and only ate for show.

“Looking chipper today, Ramos,” Randall said, glancing over at him. He took a sip of his coffee and grimaced. “Just like I like my women. Strong.” He passed by Antony’s desk, rapping his knuckles on the top before going down the hall. “Holler if you find anything,” he said.

Charlie was next to arrive. She came in with a breathless “Hi!” and threw her things on her desk before rushing down the hallway. Moments later, she returned, more composed. “Okay. Better.” She stopped and looked at Antony, her brow furrowed, and head tilted to the side. “Good weekend?”

He tried to keep a straight face but cracked a smile. “Turned out that way, yeah. After we ran into Victoria at the museum,” he said.

Charlie grimaced. “That’s not a name I ever thought you’d say again. What the fuck is she doing here?” she spat.

“Moved here, apparently,” he said. “Don’t know when. Don’t know why. Shut that shit down quick.”

“Does Lesley know about her?” Charlie asked.

“She does now.”

Charlie’s eyebrows shot up. “Wait, you didn’t tell her before Vicky showed up? How did she take it?”

“Never came up, really.” He held up a hand. “Yes, she was upset, but once she figured out the timing of everything, she calmed down. We talked a little after.”

“Told her how she broke up with you?”

He nodded. Lesley had surprised him with her anger. “How, yes. Not what she said. She was amazing when Vicky came up. Best thing, though?” he paused. “I felt nothing except for a little pity.”

Charlie looked at him. “Really? That’s all?”

“Well, it annoyed me that she was there. Pissed she tried to rug sweep all her bullshit. But mostly pity, yeah. She’s alone, and it looks like she’s a little worse for wear, if you get me.”

“I do. You’re not worried that she’s going to try something stupid?”
