“Well, that wasn’t fun,” Léon huffs, glaring down at the men we’ve laid out. “You’d think they’d be smarter considering.”

“Maybe, but I don’t give a fuck.” I shrug, stretching my neck, rolling my shoulder muscles. “Go get the SUV so we can load them in the back.”

Léon jerks his chin and darts off to grab the vehicle while I stare down at the four men passed out on the ground.

“Looks like your time is running out.” I spit on the one named Vin and curl my lip in disgust.

Léon backs the SUV up and stops close to where I am. Putting it in park, he hops out while I open the back hatch.

The two of us pick up the first two without a problem and sling them in the back. The third is more of a struggle because of his size. The fourth, Vin, I made sure to throw none too gently.

“Damn, you’d think those men would smell better than they do. We’re going to have to have the entire inside cleaned after this,” Léon sneers, closing the back hatch.

“Not my responsibility.” I shrug and head for the driver’s seat. I don’t let anyone drive me around. Not when I can do it myself and prefer to be in control.

The drive over to the Inferno’s Clutch MC is silent except for the moans of the men in the back starting to come around. Good, I want them to be awake when we get there—to know they fucked up.

Pulling up to the gates, they open before I can come to a stop. The prospect motions me through, and I jerk my chin up in acknowledgment. I don’t understand this whole motorcycle club business. But I’ve got to respect the way they work together.

I drive around back to the boat house. I’ve been here a few times over the past several years and see what they can do to a man in that shack of theirs.

Parking, I find all four brothers standing alongside Chains, Fuse, and a few others I recognize. I shut the motor off and open my door.

“You have them?” Félix asks gruffly.

“Yeah.” I nod and head for the back of the SUV. Léon opens the hatch, and all four men’s eyes come to us.

“What the fuck?” Vin sneers. “You better let us go.”

“Not going to happen,” I say, crossing my arms and giving him a glare.

“Get them in the boathouse,” Chains orders, and several of his men come forward and take the men who start struggling.

I stop the two fighting with Vin after they get him out. “Put him front and center.”

They nod and go about doing what they’re told.

I twist to meet Félix’s gaze, then the other three. All of them stare, waiting for me to let them in on what’s happening so far.

First things first. “Not the right time to say it, but I don’t care. You need to know that when we get Désirée back, I’m claiming her as mine.”

“You’re doing what?” Tristan’s brows meet, his eyes assessing me.

I meet Félix’s glare head-on and wait for him to say or do whatever it is he’s going to do. He doesn’t leave me waiting long.

Félix steps forward and nods. “We get her back, you hurt her, I’ll kill you, but I know that won’t happen because I know you.”

“What?” It’s my turn to furrow my brow as I try to figure out my boss and best friend.

“Malcolm, I’m not blind to the fact you have feelings for Désirée. This past month proves it along with the fact you demanded one of those men inside is yours,” Félix states, a smirk playing across his lips. “If that didn’t give it away, nothing would.”

Well shit. Guess it’s a good thing, Léon, and I didn’t put money down on whether or not Félix knew I had feelings for his sister.

“You’ve always been fuckin’ family,” Rémy says, speaking up for the other two as they nod.

“Wouldn’t have Désirée with just anyone,” Tristan states.

“Like he said, now let’s get the fuck in there and find out where our sister is,” Nicholas mutters, jerking his chin toward the boathouse.
