EPILOGUE

Poppy

Oh my god! Tristan!' I squeal as he smacks my as hard while he pumps into me from behind. I'm laid over the table in the dress I plan to wear to my mother's engagement party but Tristan had other plans before we could walk out the house.

My legs shake hard as an orgasm rips through my core and I feel him moving faster inside of me.

"Yes, Poppy. You know what I like. Squeeze my cock as you come." He growls out and I melt at the sound of his voice. I just love how he makes me feel. Even his voice is intoxicating to me.

When he lifts my leg so my knee is on the edge of the table and he pushes in deeper I gasp at how completely stretched out I am.

"Shit Poppy, it's so fucking good. I'm going to come. Fuck." He barks as he slams into me one final time spilling everything he has inside of me.

What was that for?" I say through my panting breaths.

"Get you in a good mood... mother can't bother you so much.... A preventive measure." He says as he tries to catch his breath, then leans down to kiss me on the neck. I moan as he pulls himself out of me and a trail of his seed comes dripping out along with him.

He walks over and picks up one of our towels wets it and cleans me off. I don't know what I did to deserve him but I'm so glad I did.

We rush out of the house once we have our clothes on correctly and I make my way to my mothers engagement party. I don't even know why I agreed to go, mostly because I know if I didn't she would be calling and begging me using this as yet another thing to hold over my head.

I could say I was here. I saw, was seen, and will never have to be seen again. Tristan and I find a table all the way in the back near the exit where I can make a quick run for it if I have to.

There are people in the small event hall that I've never seen in my life so I'm assuming they must be friends of my mothers fiancé.

After a few minutes the DJ announces the couple to be is arriving. Not sure why they would throw an engagement party and then be one of the last people to arrive but that just made it easier for me to get out sooner. I could tell her that I was there for hours before she showed up.

As my mother and her fiancé walk in, Tristan's whole body freezes up and he turns white as ghost. .

"Tristan? What's going on? Are you okay?" I put a hand on his face but he flinches away hard and his breathing starts coming in so much faster. It's like he's about to have a panic attack or something.

I don't know what could have triggered him but I do everything I can to bring him back to me.

"Tristan, talk to me. I'm right here with you. I'm here." I grab his hand and I put it on my waist, trying to get him to feel what's in front of him in the present. He squeezes me hard. Hard enough that I hiss out.

His eyes jerk to mine and then down to my waist where he has his hand and he pulls it away. "I'm sorry. I'm... oh fuck. I can't believe this shit. I'm sorry." The sweat is starting to pour off his face and now I'm scared he may be having a heart attack or something.

"Tristan , you're freaking me out. Please tell me whats's wrong. Do we need an ambulance. What should I do? Tell me what you want me to do." I panic and hear my voice start to rise.

"No, I'm fine. I'm fine." he says and takes a deep steadying breath though it's not enough to stop everything that's going on with him. "That's him."

"What?" I look behind me to see what Tristan is talking about. Who's him? "What do you mean? Him who babe?"

"That's fucking Dimitri. " he says through fritted teeth.

I gasp and swing my gaze to my mothers fiancé. That is Dimitri? The same bastard that hurt both Tristan and his sister?

"No!" I look back to Tristan. Who is still shaking with anger.

"Let's go. We don't have to be here. Let's go." I grab his hand and try to pull him out of his seat. I can't let that man hurt Tristan again. I'll kill Dimitri myself if he even comes near Tristan.

"No, I think we'll stay." Tristan says and leans back further into the shadows. "I need to watch him for a little while. I need more information."

I can't understand what he could be trying to figure out. "Why? Why do you want to be in the same room as that man?"

"Because I have a plan to make him pay for everything he's done to my family. It's going to take time but it's going to be worth it." His eyes lock on Dimitri and for the first time in a long while, I'm scared of the man sitting next to me. This Tristan is a monster and Dimitri is his kill.
