“I’m not having a prenup,” Ashlyn says.

Juniper snorts. “Rowan’s an idiot. He should definitely keep your grubby hands away from his millions.”

“Hey! I don’t have grubby hands.” Ashlyn lifts her hands to show off their cleanliness.

I herd the lot of them out of my door. I can still hear them arguing after I shut and lock the door.

“As if a locked door can keep us out!” Aspen shouts from the other side of the door.

Shit. She’s right. I put the chain on and engage the security system. I rest my forehead against the door for a second before forcing my legs to get in gear. The last thing I need is to wake up with a crick in my neck from falling asleep on the couch. Again. Bed it is.

My sisters may have left tonight without too much of a fight, but they’re not going to leave me in peace about Cole. They’re going to try their hands at matchmaking the two of us. And they have the whole town to support them. I probably should warn Cole, but what if he tells me not to worry? That he doesn’t want me romantically anyway? Better to avoid the topic all around.
