“I’ll continue.” Dahlia nodded at Vivien who turned the slide.
Liam looked at the clock. “Sorry to interrupt, but you said this would be short. How much longer? I have a massage appointment.” He rolled his big shoulder and rubbed it with his right hand. “I hate to be late.”
Jerry snickered.
Kiernan rose and edged toward the door. “I have an appointment too, at the bar. I’ll make use of the free ride. Thanks for the reminder.”
Dahlia clicked to the next slide and an image of the stadium appeared. “We want your input on what renovations are needed.” She spoke quicker, as if to get her words out before all the players made excuses and left.
Kiernan hesitated.
“You can’t hold up all the guys, they earned their free time.” Willow held out her hands. “Couldn’t you email this?”
Vivien pursed her lips and nodded at Willow’s solid point. They needed Olivia here to argue back. The most obvious would be that it was Dodo who called the meeting in the first place.
Willow turned to look down at Calista. “Unless Calista has something to say to everyone?”
Everyone turned to look at her.
