“This one was a bit over-enthusiastic…” Eric said and cackled as he pushed the nose of his shoe against Adam’s temple. Adam groaned, but didn’t open his eyes.

Owen moaned behind the gag around his head.

“And that is the loser that knocked you up, right? I saw you two. You make a beautiful pair.”

“What do you want?” Tara asked him as she saw that Owen and Caitlin were bound together.

Tara knew that Owen wouldn’t get up now that he was attached to Caitlin since she was pregnant. There was one person missing, though. Jenny. Hope flared in her chest at the thought of G.I. Jenny saving her once again.

“You already know what I want,” Eric said.

Tara figured that Jenny needed more time since she still hadn’t jumped in to stop Eric, so she figured she needed to keep him talking.

“I have no idea,” Tara said.

“Don’t act dumb, Tara. I already told you what I wanted to do to you when I knocked on this exact door six years ago. Oh, the irony of us meeting again here….”

She had to stop her eyes from rolling back into her head since she didn’t want to make him mad.

“So you want me to sit in this chair,” Tara said as she pointed to the chair in the middle of the room, next to Adam who was still lying unconscious on the floor.

“Yes. I’ll tie you up and knock you around, just like that cunt of a whoring mother of yours did and just like you did!”

“Did you kill her?” Tara asked, her voice surprisingly strong.

She didn’t know where she found the power in her voice, but she also was able to stand up straight, trying to make eye-contact with her father as he kept on walking around the apartment.

“Yes. After years of looking for you bitches, I found her. She had been a busy girl, Tara. She should have stayed with me, you and her could have made us all a lot of money.”

Owen moaned behind his gag again, making Eric laugh out loud.

“Ah, pretty boy doesn’t like that idea very much, does he?”

Tara’s gaze went over each and every item lying around in the apartment. There was nothing she could use to her advantage. Jenny had obviously kept the apartment as a storage room.

There were dozens of stacked boxes and other package material, but nothing sharp. Tara should have gone into the kitchen downstairs before going up. Hindsight is 20/20.

“Okay, let’s get this show on the road. I’m sure that pregnant bitch has called her piggy friends already.”

“How long have you been watching us?” Tara asked.

He pointed his gun at her and said, “Long enough. Now move…”

Tara walked over to the chair, but she knew she shouldn’t let him tie her up. She had to think of something. Out of despair, she made herself trip over Adam.

She fell down hard, but she faked being out cold as she kept her eyes close.

“Dammit! Stupid cow!” Eric shouted.

She felt his sweaty hand grasp her bicep as he lifted her from the ground. Tara knew she had only one shot. She opened her eyes and instantly felt his grip tighten around her arm.

She went straight for his eyes as she stuck her fingers out and rammed them as hard as she could into his eyes.

He let go of her arm and she pushed him back against the window.

“Argh, you bitch!” he shouted.

He came after her and Tara wasn’t fast enough to get away from him. His arm slithered around her throat as he tried to strangle her from behind. Tara jabbed him between the ribs with her elbow.
