I take in a deep breath, letting it out slowly; I can feel myself calming down.

“His eyes… they were all over me as if he was undressing me. He couldn’t lift his eyes from my chest. The way they lingered on me, it looked like he was going to devour me.”

I bite down on my lip. I sound so like a child right now and I know it. I should be used to these types of situations working here by now.

“I can see why a man would look at you that way.”

I quickly look up to meet his gaze.

“It’s not your fault that you’re so beautiful; you are the perfect size…,” his voice trails off as he lets go of me.

I blush at his stare, quickly turning my head away from him.

“I don’t want you to feel ashamed of your body. I don’t.”

I turn to look back to his eyes again.

I don’t know what’s happening but I feel my body coming alive by Grant.

He begins to rub my shoulders. I feel the tension lift just by the touch of his hands.

“You know, sometimes, it’s hard for a man to keep his hands, let alone his eyes off a woman.”

I giggle as he continues rubbing my shoulders.

“I’m not that beautiful, daddy.” My eyes grow wide as I let the word slip out. I’ve never called him daddy when we’re alone.

“I just don’t like the way they look at me. I’m not some piece of meat. I’ve never even…”

“Shhh, I know. I know.” He pulls me in tighter as if there’s not a single place to go other than his arms.

I feel his hot breath firmly ventilating on my neck. I want to move so slightly and let his mouth slide down further, but a knock sounds at the door.

Grant lets out a sigh.

“Duty calls.” He grunts, and rises off the bed.

He walks over to the door and looks out the peephole before opening up to the security team. He begins explaining the situation at hand, telling them to look over the video so they know who to look for; “I don’t want that man back in this casino again,” he says to the officers.

The strong tone he makes use of reaffirms his need to protect me.

No one has ever done something like this for me. People always tend to turn their heads away when I’ve come across troubles

. But not Grant. Not ever.

As security leaves, I stand up and spot the concern in his eyes as he shuts the door, turning around to meet my gaze. He’s seems worried.

“Are you going to be alright?” He asks, cocking his head to the side.

“Yes, I’ll be okay. I hate sounding like I’m a child.” I say, rolling my eyes at him and moving to wrap my arms around his.

I’ve never felt so safe in my life. I don’t want to let go of him, not now, not ever.

He rocks me back and forth slowly.

“Thank you for everything you do for me,” I whisper to him.

I love how perfectly our bodies form together, or maybe that’s just me thinking that.
