Chapter Four

Joey never wanted me to be decent. In fact, he wanted me to be horrible.

After some heavy breathing at the opera that didn't develop into anything else, he'd been by Rob's office once or twice and said some more lewd things to me, but besides that, I just considered him a nuisance.

I just ignored him. Like a bug.

Until one night he called me and said something I couldn't ignore.

Breathlessly, from Rob's home phone line, Joey called, saying nearly in tears, “You need to come right now. Something really bad has happened to Rob.”

My heart dropped into my stomach and started the painful process of dissolving.

I said coldly, “Did you call the ambulance? If he's hurt, call an ambulance. Now.”

Joey's voice shook, “No, you're not going to want me to, once you see what's happened.”

I was in my house, in my nightgown. It flowed, pink silk over my black lace underwear. I didn't have anything else on.

Joey nearly screamed, “It can't wait! We need your help, now!”

“I'll be right there,” I promised. I hung up the line.

I threw on a heavy trench coat, one that would make me at least covered up and semi-decent, and jumped into my mercedes-benz for the drive over to Rob's house.

When I arrived, all was quiet. Joey buzzed me in wordlessly and I climbed the large steps to the massive front door.

He threw it open. His white button-down shirt was open. I was taken aback by the manful mass of curling chest hair, shimmering gold just like the hair on his head.

It curled delectably over the well-defined six pack erupting over the black belt and black jeans he wore. He wore no shoes.

I said, trying to hide how hot he looked with a dismissive tone, “Something bad must have really happened, to leave you in such disarray.”

“Come on, to the kitchen, quickly,” he beckoned frantically, and I followed with speed.

The kitchen was empty and dimly lit.

I looked at the massive marble island and the best-money-can-buy oven in the middle of the large, tiled room. It was all sparkling clean and empty.

I said without turning to face Joey, “Where's Rob? What's happened?”

Two big, meaty arms came around me, and the weighty form of a man pinned me against the kitchen island. Heavy breath beat against the back of my neck.

Joey whispered into my ear with rage, “Where is Rob? On a lovely vacation to New York City. What's happened? He screwed my fiancee. In my house.”

He pressed the harsh bulge in his jeans directly against my ass, rubbing it against me.

“So I started thinking, what could I do for revenge? How could I screw something in his house that he cared about just as much? And I realized, there's nothing in this world Rob actually likes, except his precious company. And who is most integral to his running his precious company?”

I wriggled, trying to get away from his grasp, and his hands slid down my arms to press my hands firmly against the counter. His tongue flickered against my ear.

“You, my dear Anya. Beautiful, intelligent, sexy as hell Anya. You're everything to him, because you're what he needs to get this company really off the ground.”

One of his hands moved up my arm to where my jacket hung a little open now. He reached inside the jacket to my flimsy nightgown and squeezed my breast. My little, warmed up nipple responded immediately.

He said, laughing, “It's a shame, actually, that he hasn't promoted you yet, and to be honest that just goes to show me how truly nasty, evil, and selfish he is. You should be VP at least by now.”

His tongue was curling around every nook and cranny of my ear as he talked. It felt so moist and warm, and so did my pussy. All of me was getting wetter and warmer from the heat and closeness of his body, even though we were still clothed.
