I pushed Riley away for everything that happened with Rachel and in return I pushed away everyone in the club too. I will forever miss my sister, but when I look at Ivy and Kace, knowing firsthand what she did to both of them, my heart hurts. I may not be able to forget, but I am willing to try to forgive.
“You alright?” Riley asks, wrapping his arm around my waist.
I smile up at him with my pulse still racing. “Yeah.”
“You’ve got red marks from my belt on your neck, baby girl. It’s fucking hot,” he whispers.

“Gillian, come dance with us,” Harper says.
Riley laughs, smacking my ass as I walk over to them. I grin at them, tipping my beer back.

I have to believe she’s right. This has been a horrible couple of weeks and I got through it. I came out on the other side of the fire. And I’m fucking lucky enough that Riley was waiting for me.
The night goes on and everyone’s personality changes. They are joking, teasing, laughing, and drinking. Riley grabs my hand and leads me to the back, down the hall, and into his room. My head is fuzzy, but I spin around and smile.
I grab onto his shirt and he laughs. “Do you have any idea how fucking turned on I am from just watching you all night? Seeing you dance with the girls, watching you laugh with the club, and talking with everyone like you’ve been friends forever.”
I search his eyes and even drunk I can see the love he has for me. “I’ve been turned on since you mentioned the marks on my neck,” I say.
He kisses me, lifting me off the floor and laying me on the bed. He slowly takes off my clothes, kissing the skin as it becomes exposed. I reach down and pull at his shirt and he helps me lift it over his head. He removes his pants before I get a chance. He isn’t demanding or rough. His hands are slowly exploring my body as he kisses my neck.
I follow his lead and allow my hands to roam over his body. I watch his muscles flexing as he moves, his colorful tattoos dancing across his skin with each movement. It all turns me on even more and I can feel my pussy dripping with need.
He lifts his head and locks his eyes with mine. It momentarily takes my breath away, seeing the expression on his face. All his emotions are present and it’s overwhelming.

He rests his forehead against mine and I smile. “I love you too, Riley. More than I could ever put into words.”
He lays next to me and pulls me against him and I rest my head on his shoulder. I close my eyes and begin to drift off, knowing that tomorrow is the start of our new beginning.
