“I hope we are,” Remi says.

I laugh as I pull my shirt on and sit down in the chair. “She had some work to do, so she went to shower and get that done.”

“Well?” Lane says. I raise my eyebrow in question, and he rolls his eyes. “You’re such an asshole. What happened? Are you guys dating or just fucking or what?”

I shake my head, unable to hide my grin. “We’re dating.”

“And fucking?” Everett asks.

I laugh as I run my hand through my wet hair. “Yeah, assholes and fucking.”

“So, what’s this mean?” Remi asks.

“What’s what mean?” I ask.

He sighs and leans his elbows on his knees. “Is she still going to work for us? Isn’t it going to make things harder?”

I look at each of them and lean back. So, this isn’t a visit to see how things went. This is a visit to make sure I’m not going to fuck everyone over. Which pisses me off since I went to them before making a move. I try to push down the anger, but it’s impossible.

I cross my arms and shake my head. “Nothing changes. The only difference is that for the first time in my twenty-six years of life I’m fucking completely happy. It makes nothing harder. She still keeps our private life out of the headlines and keeps our asses in line. If you guys are questioning my intentions here, let me clear that shit up right now.” I lean forward resting my hands on the coffee table. “I’m crazy about her. She makes me feel things I’ve never felt. She calms me and turns me on just walking in the room. I let her in, completely in. I won’t let this affect our music or our band. My personal life, my love life, is mine. I will fight anyone who questions it. She’s mine and I’m hers. End of fucking story.”

“You’re falling in love with her?” Everett asks, widening his eyes.

I shrug as I lean back. “I don’t know what love feels like.”

“You’ll know,” Remi says, nodding.

“I think it’s fucking great. You deserve this, brother,” Lane says.

I grin and nod toward him. “Yeah, I do and so does she.”

“What happens if the label finds out?” Remi asks.

“I’ll handle them when that happens. I promised her I wouldn’t come out publicly until after this tour. After this tour, all bets are off. Everyone will know and I’ll take care of it. It’s nothing to worry about,” I tell them.

There’s a knock at the door and I know it’s her. I get up and open it, pulling her into my arms and kissing her. She’s been gone for maybe three hours and I feel like it’s been days. When I pull back, she has a smile on her beautiful face and her hands on my chest.

“Miss me?” she asks.

“I’m man enough to admit I fucking did,” I say.

She wraps her arms around me and rests her head on my chest. “Good, me, too.”

“Are we invisible now?” Lane yells, laughing.

She pulls away and blushes, hitting my arm. “You should’ve warned me.”

I laugh as I wrap my arm around her and lead her over to the guys. “Why? They know,” I say, lifting my shoulder.

“So how does this work now? Can we still fuck groupies or is your old lady gonna get mad?” Everett asks. He’s half kidding and half serious, even though he laughs.

Lorelei sighs as she sits down in my chair, so I sit on the arm of it. “Nothing changes. I didn’t care, okay I cared, because I think you all deserve so much better, but just like before I will do nothing but cover what you do privately. This changes nothing.”

I rest my hand on her shoulder and squeeze. She’s nervous, but there’s no reason for it. It’s our private life, no one else’s.

“Okay, well I’m happy for you guys,” Everett says.

“I’m still calling you boss lady, even
