“Are you so sure Roman’s men can’t find you?” Kase asks.

“They would’ve by now.” Cannon’s answer isn’t exactly an answer. “How’d you get the address?”

“How else? I put a tracker on your vehicle for Jacobi.”

“Fuck you both,” Cannon says without heat.

Kase rolls his eyes. “You didn’t really think he’d hang out in Malibu and not know where you’re at?”

“You both are nosy,” Cannon says.

“When we feel like it. Besides, I had to bring you new supplies.” He rises and goes to the corner where a black duffel sits. He unloads new tablets and phones. “He figures doing a refresh won’t hurt after he’s done all that digging.”

“Do you have proof of the smuggling?” Cannon asks.

“Enough that connections can be easily made, but I’m not sure if it’ll be enough to point to Roman,” Kase says. “The only question is, what do you want us to do about it?”

Now Cannon relaxes into the cushions. “Remember that FBI friend of mine?”
