I unlock the tinted glass doors of my studio. “I don’t know—”
The metallic stench hits me first. I suck in a startled gasp as my eyes adjust to my dim studio.
“Penni? Is everything okay?”
My gaze sweeps the studio as panic tightens my chest. “So much blood.”
