I narrowed my eyes at him. “But it’s not impossible, otherwise this silly, pretend marriage thing we came to undo wouldn’t have existed at all. Right?”

Henryk nodded with a jerk of his head.

“Cool.” I turned away to focus on the other men, a hot and heavy sense of disappointment in my gut. It was obvious from this conversation that Silas and Viktor would happily start a relationship with me. Henryk... not so much.

I knew I was being unfair. After all, would I happily share one of them with multiple women? No. No, I wouldn’t. So why should a man like Henryk share me? Or evenwantme at all, for that matter.

I pushed to my feet, my head spinning and my legs unsteady beneath me. “I think I need to get to bed.”

“We’ll walk you back to your room.” Silas jumped to his feet.

Viktor stood up, then swayed slightly. “Yes. I think we need to call it a night, or tomorrow’s flight may be missed.”

I nodded and walked toward the door, not bothering to say goodnight to Henryk. I should have, and felt petty for it, so when I opened the door, I turned back to our host with the intent to lift my hand and say goodnight.

But he was there, right in front of me.

“Oh. Wow. You move fast.”

Henryk didn’t speak. But he slid a hand around my waist, pulled me against his body and kissed me, hard and fast.

When he lifted his head, his eyes were filled with turmoil, but his tone was level when he said, “Goodnight, Erin.” And then he turned and walked in the opposite direction from the rest of us.

I stared after him, my mouth half-open and my lips tingling from his kiss.

Viktor chuckled beside me. “Not sure he wants to be left out.”

I glanced up at the sexy guy who’d made sure Henryk came with us to Spain. “How come you want him on our vacation?”

Viktor’s eyebrows snapped together in question. “What do you mean?”

“I mean... you pushed really hard for him to come. Why?”

He stared down at me with his intense dark gaze. “Not sure, to be honest. I just had a feeling he was needed.”

“For me?” I asked, my head starting to spin a little harder the longer I stood there.

“For all of us,” Viktor said, offering me his arm, which I gratefully clung to. “Let’s get you into bed.”

We laughed and stumbled our way down several corridors, got lost, had to ask for help, then finally found ourselves standing in front of my ornate door.

I bumped my shoulder against the wood, staggering. “Do you guys wanna come in?”

Viktor and Silas exchanged glances that I could only interpret as concerned.

“Ah, probably not a good idea ” Silas said. “With this much alcohol in us, it doesn’t make for good choices.”

“You could just sleep with me,” I said, smiling up at both of them. “My bed is massive.”

Viktor laughed and cupped my chin gently. “Let’s all sleep in our own rooms tonight, but once we’re in Spain, it’s no holds barred. Okay?”

I nodded, a little sad. But at heart, I knew they were right. It was a bad idea to make decisions when I could barely stand up straight. “Okay.”

Viktor dipped his head and kissed me softly on the lips. Then Silas did the same thing, lingering a little longer.

“Good night.” I managed, before pushing open the door and staggering to the bed.

“Night!” The boys called out before they shut the door behind them.
