But what they didn’t seem to realize was that I didn’t have the same freedoms they did. I couldn’t just meet a random woman, find a friend and take her to bed. That would not remain a private thing. This had been drilled into my head since I was young. I always had to be careful who I let know me, who I let talk to me, who I was in a room beside.

I had to try to explain that to them.

“I can’t just be with anyone I want. My dates are vetted, investigated, and then the public and their social media gets involved. It’s treacherous to navigate.” I could only imagine how badly this would turn out for all of us if the press got a hold of things. “If I’m with someone, the entire country and anyone with internet access and an interest in royal families knows about it.”

And I wasn’t exaggerating. Once, I’d been followed through Lichtenstein by a woman who just wanted an autograph and ran my car off the road. I ended up with a broken arm and it could’ve been worse because my car rolled when she forced me onto a shoulder of the road and my driver lost control.

Guys like Silas and Viktor had it made. “You guys don’t have to worry about judgmental parents who feel like it’s their privilege or their responsibility—”Either way, the result was the same.“—to remind you that you’re being watched for everything you do.”

Silas nodded. “Yeah. That would be awful.” He looked at Viktor. “But nobody knows you here.”

He was wrong. “As long as they have internet and cell phones, I can’t be too careful.” If Ray was still up, he’d tell them. He’d seen it all firsthand, even though he’d only worked for me for a few years.

“But you’re allowed to have a vacation? To take a break?” Silas tilted his head like he was mid-idea.

“From my life and being who I am?” I shook my head. “I wish.” It wasn’t as if I could stop being a prince for the space of this week. I was high-profile and there was no way to hide from it.

“Maybe. You’re getting married, so you’re on one last vacation with your friends before you become a family man. Any photographers or paparazzi come calling, we’re just a group of friends hanging out at the beach in Ibiza.” Viktor made it sound so easy.

“But at night, when it’s just the four of us...” Silas was wearing that smile again.

“And Ray.” Viktor was all about helping out.

“And Ray,” he agreed. “Then you’re just one of the guys dating a beautiful woman and taking her to the height of what can only be called sexual euphoria.”

Silas did make it sound euphoric. And easy.

“If this ever comes out...” There wouldn’t be an expanse of space large enough for me to put between me and my parents.

“It won’t. Just play it cool,” Viktor said, a grin plastered all over his face.

“Yeah. No worries. We’ve got your back, Prince Charming.” Silas handed me another beer. And for the first time, in a very long time, I was relaxed enough to consider all this.

It was a lot to wager, a lot to lose. But even if it all came out, I’d be forgiven the moment my engagement was announced, surely? It would never be forgotten of course, but surely, I had the right to one single week of freedom?

“All right. I’m in.”

I’d never thought I’d be able to love a woman like Erin. But now, being with her was a burning need, a soul desire. And come hell or high water, I was going to find a way.

VIKTOR

It was impossible not to think about Erin, not to want her, not to imagine all the different things I wanted to do to her body that made my dick twitch. But when she stripped down to a bikini, put on a wide brimmed hat and laid back on a chaise in the sand to sunbathe, I almost swallowed my tongue. My cock was one throb from peeking out of my shorts.

She was luscious. Curved. This woman had a body that made me want to plunge inside of her, ram my cock....

Thoughts like those were the reason I spent most of the day semi-hard. I was sure Silas was equally afflicted. From where we were riding rented jet skis, we could all see the beach, all see her lying there, glistening with suntan oil.

Fuck. She was an eyeful. And as a man with eyes, I was grateful.

She stood up and used her hat to fan herself. Then she stretched, and my mouth went dry. She was all lines and curves and I wanted to lick and kiss every inch of her.

Silas pulled up beside my wave runner, and we both stared at her. And then there were three, as Henryk pulled up.

“How the fuck is anyone supposed to resist that?” Si pointed at the beach. Then suddenly, like she could hear us, she looked out at the water and waved. “Honestly. Holy shit.”

“I sure as hell don’t plan on resisting anything.” No point in pretending. I wanted her, and after that kiss last night, no way could she say that she wasn’t into the idea. She’d kissed each one of us and she’d done it with passion. She’d done it with conviction.
