There was no point in hiding; they clearly knew where he was.

It rang and rang, and Harry could picture the look on Parrish’s face when he saw who was calling.

It answered just before cutting out. He sounded half asleep. “Harry.”

“Where have they taken him?”

“Where have who taken who?”

“Don’t play fucking games with me, Parrish. I know everything. You put a contract out on my head and you didn’t think I’d find out? You’re fucking stupider than you look. Now where have they taken him?”

“I don’t know what—”

“Bullshit!” Harry screamed. He held his phone so tight, he thought it might crack. “You sent Gibson and Hull to chase us. They killed that fisherman in Gibraltar and you pinned it on us by sending information to Interpol. I know what you’ve done.”

“You don’t know anything,” he said coldly.

“Where have they taken him?” Harry said again, his voice real fucking low. “So help me God, Parrish. After everything I’ve done for you. For the country you claim to love... you’ve been making gas and oil deals to line your own pockets for years, having people killed when they got in your way. You’re going down for all of it.”

Silence.

“Did you hear what I said?” Harry asked.

“You don’t have proof.”

Harry laughed, sounding a little crazy. “Yes we do. You’re fucking finished. But don’t worry. The punishment for what they will charge you with will be a walk in the park compared to what I’m gonna do to you.”

There was more silence for a long time.

“Harry,” he said, his tone more appeasing now. “I’m sure we can discuss this—”

“You tell me where he is, and you might wanna start praying they haven’t harmed a hair on his head, or I will fucking kill everyone. You hear me? Every single person you ever loved.”

Harry heard him swallow.

“I don’t know where they are,” he said quietly. “They were in Oman last I heard. You and Garin were spotted in Muscat. They were already in Saudi, so it wasn’t far... I don’t know where they are exactly. They haven’t called it in yet.”

“What instruction did you give them?” No, that wasn’t the right question. “Did you give them a kill-order?”

Silence.

“I told them to bring you in,” Parrish said.

Harry knew that wasn’t the truth. “Liar.”

“By any means necessary,” he added. “You, Harry. Not Garin. They must think they can lure you out of hiding.”

“Which might be the case if I knew where they fucking were!” Harry was so mad he was beginning to shake. “You find them. And you call me back. And you better pray to any fucking God who will listen that Asher’s okay.”

“Harry, I can’t—”

“How’s your family, Parrish?” Harry asked, his voice chillingly pleasant. “How is Linda? She keeping well? And your two kids, Andrew and Joanna? Gee, they might even have kids of their own by now? They all well, Parrish?”

“You don’t threaten my family—”

“It’s not a threat. It’s a promise. You have ten minutes.”

“It’s the middle of the night—”
