“I merely wanted her impressions of the guy. Needless to say, I’m curious.”

Emma hears Kyle sigh and senses him weighing his words.
“Not your marriage per se,” he says finally. “I’m curious about Tom himself. I mean, my brother was barely in the ground before you started dating him.”
