“There’s a hot tub?” I clutch the brush to my chest and bounce on my feet.
He chuckles. “Yep. It’s out on the back deck.” He approaches and runs a finger from my neck over my collarbone.
“When we get back from the hike?” I ask.
His bottom lip sticks out in the most over dramatic pout I’ve ever seen and he wraps his arms around me from behind. I laugh at his ridiculousness. “You’re greedy.”
“For you? Always.” He leans down and plants wet kisses on my neck, and I sigh and lean into him. “I love you forever, Olivia Sutton.”
“I love you infinity, Luke Reilly.”
He smirks and swats my ass as he heads out to the room to get dressed. Even with all this craziness, Luke still makes me smile and feel safe. I watch him leave, and my heart flutters as I let our words sink into my soul. Forever it is.
