“You’rejealous?”Waltrepeats and hearing him chuckle has me popping my eyes open.
“Are you laughing at me?” I ask.
Walt’s hearty laugh continues, and before he could finish, I walk off wiping away the tears that have escaped. I know that it’s stupid and childish to be jealous, but I don’t know how to control it. I’ve never even been jealous of anyone in this capacity before.
Luckily, my dressing room is right around the corner. I get in and slam the door shut, not caring if others around me hear it. I remove my Santine costume since I know there’s a break for hours in between this and another rehearsal.
The damn burlesque type of get up is cute but right now, it’s pissing me off as well. I frustratingly wipe my tears away as I remove my hair from the pins, they had it in. They have to change the style later, anyway.
Walt walks into my dressing room and shuts the door, locking it. We make eye contact through my dresser’s mirror. He cocks his brow as he takes me in. I’m only in my pasties, thong, and the clipped in straps that hold the knee-high sheer stockings up along with the heels.
“What? Did you come in here to laugh at me some more?” I ask, truly upset for the very first time in my life.
“I wasn’t laughing at you.” Walt says as he walks closer and stands right behind me.
I fully stand up to give us space, but he wraps his arm around my waist, pulling me back to him. “You’re fucking with me today, Everest, and I don’t appreciate it.”
Slowly, I turn to face him. “You could’ve just stayed home and not come here.”
Walt lifts his brow and smirks. “You’ve got a lot of attitude today, Everest. You want to keep going or are you going to tell me what’s really going on with you?”
“I tried telling you and you laughed at me.”
Walt grabs my jaw in his hand and makes me look up at him. “Are you serious right now, Everest? Moonlight is with my brother and it’s not like that. What is there to be jealous of? Are you serious right now?”
I try to yank my jaw out of his hand, but he keeps me there. “Let go, Walton.”
Walt smiles and his eyes soften, but the anger is still very much brewing in there. “You’re hiding from me and I’m trying to shield you from things about me because I don’t want you to leave the room like you did earlier. Do you know who I wanted to see the most when my episode was over?”
“I’m not hiding from you.” I whisper.
“You’re changing the subject.” He grits through his teeth. “I wanted to see you, but you left. I wanted to see one of your smiles. I would’ve been okay if you left the room, but you left the house, meaning you were running away.”
“I’m no use to you, Walt. I can’t help you.” I whisper.
“Help me how? I don’t need your help, Everest, I need you to trust me.”
“I do.”
“So then, why would you be jealous about Moonlight and me? She’s in love with my brother and vice versa. I would never step in and try to take over, especially not after I said you were my girlfriend. I told you I wanted more.”
“Yes.” I answer.
“So, what the fuck would I be doing trying to snatch up my brother’s woman for?”
“I’m not jealous of that!” I say, frustrated. “Can you let go of my jaw, please?”
“No.” Walt replies. “You avoid my eyes too much. I’m punishing you for pissing me the fuck off and looking fucking delicious while you do it.”
“Walt.” I whisper and he shakes his head.
He invades my space, and our lips are so close, I’m breathing his air. “This hiding from me. Shit stops today.” Walt grunts out. “Now, tell me you trust me again and mean it like you did last night.”
Walt walks me backwards until I feel the dresser near my thighs, and he lifts me, placing me on the dresser. He slaps each thigh hard, and I widen them as he moves his body into the space. He doesn’t have to say it, but his look tells me everything I need to know.
My body shivers as I reach for his jeans and do my best to remove his dick, freeing it. His jeans and boxers are further pushed down with his free hand, but he won’t let me go. He won’t let me look anywhere else.
