Walt rolls his eyes and before I could say anything else, he slaps my hand away from his jaw, picking me up and practically folding me into a fetal position. “Goodnight, everyone.” Walt grits through his teeth.

“Goodnight, Everie,” Rowe says with amusement in his tone.

“Night, Rowe,” I say with my voice muffled. “We’ll talk in the morning.”

“Shut the fuck up, Everest.” Walt says to me.

“Can you unfold me?” I ask.

“Nope. You’ve reached the maximum level of you’ve got me fucked up for the night.”

I huff and shut my eyes, loving that I am, however, in the arms that I’ve been missing the most. “I missed you, Disney…” I say, knowing he won’t respond.

That’s okay as long as I said it.
