“Wow, that looks like a nice house! Did you buy it with all the money you stole from your hardworking fans?”

I groaned aloud at that last one. “Unbelievable!”

The gall that somebody would suggest I’mstealingfrom my fans by not showing my naked body. Just wow. No words.

The money I made on OnlyFans was nice, no doubt. But it was messages like those that made me second-guess what I was doing. They crept up on my heart, like a dark shroud, until I felt this awful crunching pressure that made me want to crawl into a hole and disappear and never post anotherpicture on the internet ever again.

How long could I do this for? And what else could I even do?

I didn’t know. I didn’t have any real skills. The only “real” jobs I had were all in restaurants. And I really didnotwant to go back to waiting tables.

Sometimes, I felt so trapped, like Ihadto be on OnlyFans for the rest of my life—or until the money ran out, anyway. And then what?

“What should I do, Minka?” I asked aloud.

Minka only looked up at me and panted. For once, she didn’t have any answers.

“Same, girl,” I sighed. “Same.”

I plugged away at my laptop all day, touching up today’s photos and preparing the artwork for my next advertising campaign. Minka laid next to me on the couch the whole time, snoozing and twitching in the midst of a doggy dream, when—ding-dong!—the doorbell woke her.Zoom, she jumped off the couch and raced to the front door.

I peeked at the clock. I couldn’t believe it was five o’clock already. But the girls were done with class, and now, I was done working for the day, too.

I shut my laptop and went to answer the door. April and Farrah looked ready to lounge by the poolside, wearing oversized t-shirts over their swimsuits.

“The brain trust has arrived! Hi, you guys!” I waved them inside. “Welcome!”

“Holy moly, Iz,” Farrah said, wide-eyed as she scanned the foyer of Rust’s gorgeous home. “Thishouse!”

“Isn’t it amazing?”

“Who cares about the house!” April shrieked from the floor as Minka covered her face in kisses. “Thisdog!”

“Oh, I know. Minka’s a total sweetheart. Although shedidwake me at five thirty this morning,” I groaned. “So how was class?”

I beamed while the girls caught me up on their day. We’d been apart for, what, barely two days, and already I felt likesomuch had happened since the last time I saw them. I couldn’t wait to tell them about the kiss with Rust later. I needed their advice on what to do next, because I was lost.

“So you’re sure he’s cool with us being here, right?” April asked, her brows meeting.

“Who cares,” Farrah said with a wave of her hand. “What he doesn’t know can’t hurt him.”

But I assuaged April’s fears. “Don’t worry; he doesn’t mind at all. I told him I’d have you guys over. C’mon, let me show you around!”

Rust’s million dollar home had the girls gasping and gawking the entire tour.

“I am sooooo jealous right now,” April said. She grabbed my shoulders and shook me. “Izzy! You livehere now!”

I chuckled. “Just here and there, and only for a few days at a time.”

“Yeah, until Rust asks you to move in,” Farrah said.

“Yeeah, I don’t think that will be happening anytime soon,” I said.

In the basement, the girls had the same reaction I did when I first saw it—they giggled.

“It’s like guy heaven in here,” Farrah said.
