Holy shit, I was in a sex club.

I’d heard of places like this and had friends who’d been to them, but I’d never had the guts to go myself. Well, I’d never had anyone to bring me to one, either. But something about Brodie felt so safe, and it didn’t hurt that he was sexy as hell.

If I hated it, we’d just leave. Easy.

After passing through two massive security doors, we entered a swanky lounge area with a dozen people perched on sofas and chairs, chatting and drinking cocktails.

I leaned close to Brodie’s ear. “What’s going on?”

“Most people warm up a little. They want to talk to other folks, see if there is anyone they want to play with.”

I held his hand tightly. It was my first time after all.

“Some people stick with the partners they came with, and some get into swapping.” He pulled me close. It felt seriously good.

“But I plan to keep you all to myself,” he whispered.

Hell, yeah.

We went to get a drink from a curvy bartender wearing a pink merry widow attached to garters and stockings, and theatrical makeup along the lines of Cirque du Soleil. The perfect look for a sex club.

She tilted her beret-covered head and looked us up and down with what I was pretty sure was approval.

“Two champagnes,” Brodie told her as he handed her a couple twenties.

“Coming right up,” she said with a big smile.

Seconds later, we had ice-cold bubbly in our hands. I was nervous and took a huge gulp. I was pretty sure Brodie sensed my nerves, because he led me to a sofa in a quiet corner.

“Let’s just watch for a bit,” he said.

I couldn’t believe I was there. I wanted to play it cool, but really felt like jumping out of my skin.

I had to say, the other guests were for the most part very good looking—fit, well dressed, and classy. Would I see anyone I knew? God, I hoped not.

We watched for a while. Two hunky fireman-like men took a woman up some stairs. She looked pretty damn happy. Couldn’t say I blamed her.

“Where are they going?” I asked Brodie, tipping my head toward the threesome.

“Probably to one of the playrooms upstairs.” He turned to look at me. “You like that? Two guys?”

I looked around the room, and when my gaze returned to Brodie’s, it was clear he was waiting for an answer.

“Um, yeah. I suppose.”

I’d certainly thought about it before but had never pursued it. I mean, what do you do, put an ad on Craigslist and say you wanted a threesome?

Actually, that probably was what people did.

“Will you be okay here if I run to the restroom?” he asked me.

Ummmm…

I smiled brightly. “Of course. Just don’t forget about me.” I laughed bravely.

He bent to kiss my temple. “Be back in a flash.”

I went to take another sip of my champagne and found the glass nearly empty.

Slow down, girl.

I leaned back on the sofa to take it all in, and a woman plopped down beside me. She was beautiful in a Cleopatra-sort of way, with black bobbed hair, blunt bangs, and heavy eye makeup.

I wondered if I could pull off a look like that.

“Hi,” she said, hand extended. “I’m Aimee.”

There was the slightest slur to her words.

I took her hand. “Nice to meet you.”

She leaned too close. “You’re awfully pretty.”

I thanked her.

“Would you like to go upstairs and play around?”

Not only had I never been to a sex club, but I’d also never messed around with a woman. This might have been a night of firsts, but one thing at a time please.

I inched away from her on the sofa—somehow, she’d gotten even closer in the minute since she’d sat.

“Uh, well—” I sputtered.

“Excuse me, miss. Mind if I sit by my friend, there?”

Brodie!

Aimee’s eyes widened at the sight of him. “Sure thing. I was just keeping her company.” She stood on unsteady feet.

“Talk to you later,” I said to her.

Brodie turned to me, his handsome face amused. “Look at you. I leave you for five minutes, and you have someone picking you up already.”

The desire in his eyes was equaled by the massive hard on tenting his trousers.

“Well, seeing as this is a sex club, I suspect it’s not that unusual.”

The throbbing between my legs suggested the decision to join him had been a good one.

“Did you like her?” he asked.

I nodded. “Yeah. I did. She was hot. A little drunk, I think. But hot. Do you think I could pull off a look like that?”

“Shit, you could pull off any look you like. And do it a thousand times better.”

I rolled my eyes. “Okay, Mr. Hotel. Flattery will get you everywhere.”

He stood, extending his hand. His fingers dwarfed mine and were oh-so-warm.

I followed him upstairs to where I imagined all the magic happened.
