“I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the next two days,” Kyle added, his yellow wolf shifter eyes receding so that the sparkle in his human eyes became evident once again.
I chewed on my bottom lip. “I might need a little more time to get to know you a bit better. Please. If that’s okay?”
I sounded pathetic but I didn’t know how else to ask for the time I needed to get more comfortable with them.
Xander’s smile was wickedly sexy. “Are you sure we can’t convince you to get to know us... in bed?”
“I’m a virgin.” There it was. I blurted out the truth, then got the pleasure of watching shock and awe roll over their faces. “I’m not sure if that’s a big deal where you come from.”
“It is,” Xander barked out, then coughed as if to clear his throat. “But in a good way.”
Kyle nodded. “We’ll be your firsts, and that’s... amazing.”
“Firsts and lasts, hopefully,” I said, with as much of a smile as I could manage. I was shaking with a combination of tension and excitement.
“Firsts and lasts. I like the sound of that.” Xander grinned, clearly as happy with the idea as I was.
In the course of one day, my whole life had changed. I’d gone from being lonely and yearning for the day I could explore the world, to having two men who wanted to mate with me and take me anywhere I wanted to go.
My head was spinning. “If it’s okay, maybe we can slow down just a little.”
Xander reached for his shirt which was lying over a chair and held it in his hand, though he didn’t put it back on. “Maybe we could reach a compromise of sorts, then?”
Those belly butterflies were back. “What sort of compromise are you talking about?”
Xander threw his shirt on the dining table and held out his hand to me. “We’ll keep our pants on—but you take yours off.”
A gasp caught in my throat, but I reached for his hand. “What do you mean exactly?”
“I mean, let us pleasure you. You can keep your virginity for now, but we want to give you a sneak peek into the sort of future you’d have with us.”
That sounded crazy exciting. Scary, but something I’d been dreaming about for years.
“I think I’d love that,” I said, glancing over at Kyle to check his reaction.
The flare of wolf in his eyes was all the answer I needed, before Xander swept me up into his arms and stalked into my bedroom.
