“What?”

“You know exactly what I’m talking about,” she hissed. “River is the nicest person ever, and you were being sarcastic. It was like you were making fun of him, and me, I might add.”

Beau felt his face cloud over in anger. “First of all, I wasn’t being sarcastic to River. He does seem like a nice guy. As for you, though…” Beau pointed his finger at her. “How did you expect me to react? After last night, you basically treat me like a stranger. Then with River, you’re all mushy-mushy as if he’s your long-lost lover. Which wouldn’t surprise me, by the way, from how you can flip a switch and put any emotion on your face you want.”

“What the actual hell are you accusing me of, Beau?” Alessandra asked, with an incredulous tone. “Because last I checked, you and I only fucked once in the past twenty years. Hell, you being here is the first time we’ve even talked in twenty years. So even if I were in a relationship with River—which I’m not—you have no right to say anything about it.”

“Listen, I don’t give a shit about what you’re doing with River. But your attitude toward me ever since we met up tonight has been completely unfriendly. Which makes no sense, because I thought we had fun last night, even though you did leave as soon as it was over. I can’t think of anything I did to make you angry, so I figured maybe you just had a bad day at work. But then I see you’re oh-so-happy to meet up with River, so I figure either you’re sleeping with him, or, for some unknown reason, you now dislike me.”

Alessandra laughed sarcastically, pointing her finger at him. “You’rejealous! You’re jealous that River and I are friends. And now you’re accusing me of being the one in the bad mood? You’re the one who was rude to him, not me. And I don’t dislike you, even though I have to say I’d be completely justified if I did. But no, that was in the past. I’m here now, aren’t I?”

“You’re here… for yourjob.” Beau stood and walked toward her, his tone increasing with his steps. “And it seems like ‘for your job’ you can be happy with the flip of a switch, something you apparently reserve only for rich, handsome country music stars these days.”

Alessandra’s voice rose to match his. Beau wondered if the security team outside the room could hear the two of them. “I can’t believe you think I’m insincere, especially after last night. Grow up, Beau. This jealous side of you is unattractive. If I was going to fuck you again—and believe me, I’mnot—this side of you would be a total turn-off.”

Beau’s anger pulsed through him. “Oh? I’m unattractive, am I? No intention of fucking me again, huh?” He stepped toward her. Before she could pull away, he wrapped his arms around her shoulders, bringing her face to his.

She resisted, but he was stronger and wouldn’t let her leave his embrace.

“Let me go, you asshole!” she hissed.

“No. Not until you tell the truth.” Beau held her tight with one hand while the other moved down to the front of her jeans. He cupped her pelvic area and rubbed her clit with his palms over her jeans. “Do you find me unattractive, Alessandra? Do you?”

She looked over to the side and remained silent, but he could see her breath quicken as he applied more pressure. He moved his free hand up under her blouse. “And what about this, Alessandra? Do you hate it? Is thisunattractiveto you?” Emphasizing the point, he reached inside her bra and squeezed her nipple.

“Beau… stop,” she said, but her voice wasn’t demanding. He felt her relax. He leaned down to kiss her. Still playing with her nipple, his mouth pressured hers to open. After some seconds, she allowed his tongue in, his lips moving over hers. He loosened his other hand.

“You’re not going to run away, are you?” he asked, his fingers now rolling across the other nipple.

“No.”

“Okay then. Stand here.” Beau motioned her to stand by the end of the couch. He locked the door, then returned, facing her back. “Stay still.” From behind her, he lifted her blouse over her head.

She turned back to look at him. “Beau, what—”

“I said, stay still.” He turned her to face away from him. He took off his shirt, pressing his bare chest against her back. Each hand wrapped around her, touching both her breasts at the same time. She leaned back against him.

“Hmm….” she said. He pulled the hair off one side of her neck and kissed from behind her ear down to her collarbone. Alessandra’s nipples became harder as Beau’s fingers played with them. His cock grew stiff as she pressed against him.

Beau continued the manipulation of her breasts, kissing every area of her neck and collarbone. The small movements of her groin signaled her growing excitement.

“Beau, please. More. I need more,” she said, her voice a quiet plea.

“Do you find me attractive, Alessandra?”

“Yes.”

“And were you lying earlier when you said otherwise, Alessandra?”

“Yes.”

“Do you want to fuck me, Alessandra?”

“Yes.”

“Do you want to fuck me now, right here?”

“Yes, God yes, Beau. Please, I don’t want to wait.”
