CHAPTER7

First Kiss~Olivia

Aiden textedme right when I was going to warm up some ramen noodles. My small bowl of cereal wasn’t enough to curb my hunger, and I hadn’t had any real food all day. I pulled my suitcase off my bed and rolled it near the door. Doing a double check to make sure all the lights were off, I grabbed my purse and headed down the stairs. The convention was only two days, so I didn't need that many clothes, well that's what I told myself as I hauled my large suitcase with a week's worth of clothing down the stairs.

A luxury sedan with midnight tinted windows idled outside the door with Aiden leaning against it. A fitted t-shirt concealed his muscular frame, and a pair of dark denim jeans stretched over his trunk-like legs. I didn't know if it was the carnal stare in his eyes or the sudden chill running down my spine from the wind, but my grasp weakened, and my suitcase toppled to the bottom of the steps.

Beating me to it, he scooped down and grabbed the handle of my suitcase with one hand as he pulled me into his embrace with the other. I inhaled him and forced his masculine scent around my lungs. My pulse turned into a thundering stampede, and his forehead found mine. I shouldn't want this. Aiden was old enough to be my dad, and I told myself I would take a break from relationships, but this was different. Aiden was different.

His grip around my waist tightened, and his fingers found their rightful place tangled within my tresses. "Promise not to pull away, okay?"

Before I could answer, his lips came crashing down on mine and ruined me. Time stilled, my pulse mellowed, and a cloud of safety swallowed me for the first time in a long time. He held me tight with lips locked as his fingers caressed my scalp. The sound of the driver slamming the trunk shut broke our trance, and Aiden stepped aside. I brushed the loose hair strands out of my face and ran a hand down my shirt as I slid into the vehicle.

The inside of the car smelled just like him, and a wave of tingles skittered down my spine. Settling in the seat, I leaned back and waited for Aiden to slide in. I teased my tongue over my lips, eager to consume the leftover taste of our kiss. He sat close to me and placed his hand on my thigh, giving me a light squeeze. With questions about our trip on the tip of my tongue, they dissolved when I caught a glimpse of the cracked skin on his knuckles.

I brushed my fingers over it and lifted my eyes to meet his gaze. "What happened to your hand?"

He lifted it and flexed his fingers a few times. "Ah, nothing. I just had to teach some asshat a fucking lesson. I'll ice it on the plane." Tiny dots of blood bubbled to the surface as he flexed once more before lowering his hand back down to my thigh. With the taste of his kiss still on my lips, my mind raced as I digested just how good it felt, how safe it felt. He kissed me like he’s known me for years and held me like he never wanted to let go. He kept his hand on my thigh as he powered through a few emails on his phone, and I texted Mia everything she needed to know so Oreo would be comfortable. The car slowed, and we pulled up next to a private jet.

"You have a jet?" My words came out fast, and I placed my hand over my mouth in embarrassment.

He smiled and climbed out of the car. "No, but I like to rent them whenever I travel. Not a fan of the hassle of commercial flying, plus we needed to be alone, there is only the two pilots, no flight crew."

Alone? His words made me sizzle, and a pool of saliva blanketed my mouth. He held out his hand, and I grabbed it. The lights from the jet lit up the surrounding area, making my heart thump in my chest as I climbed the steps. I've never flown in a private plane before; hell, I never even flown first class. The strong scent of vanilla slapped me in the face as I boarded. Plush, cream-colored chairs outlined with marbleized wood were scattered throughout. I walked cautiously down the aisle, stopping at the chair with the cream soda and grilled cheese sitting on the tray table.

"That's for you," Aiden said as he closed in on me.

He held out his hand, instructing me to sit. I sank into the plush seat and nestled my head against the headrest. I looked around, taking in the decor, the lights, and everything else. Aiden joined me, taking the seat across from me. I stretched my legs and looked around once more. The amount of space provided from the seat and the aisle aided in shoving all my insecurities to the side. For the first time, I didn't have to make myself smaller just to make someone else feel comfortable. I relaxed my arms and let them fall to my side. The seam of his mouth torn into a small smile, and he winged a brow.

Every time he did that, butterflies swarmed in my belly, but I wasn't going to tell him. I kicked my feet out and swung them around. Although he was sitting across from me, there was well over two feet between us. He adjusted in his seat and let his long legs spread apart. My eyes landed on his crotch, and when I looked up, his eyes were locked on mine.

A wave of heat rushed to my cheeks, and I snatched the grilled cheese off the plate next to me. Pushing the warm bread past my lips, I savored the gooey goodness of melted cheese and roasted tomato. I kept my eyes down, my legs crossed, and lips sealed as I devoured the sandwich.

"How did you know I liked grilled cheese?" I wiped the crumbs from my mouth and swallowed down the last bite.

The corners of his eyes creased. "I had a hunch." He winked and placed his elbow on the armrest as he slid his thumb across his bottom lip.

I ignored his gesture and pulled my cream soda out of the holder. The straw bobbed, and I pinched two fingers around it to hold it in place. I didn't know where to look. Looking around was obvious, and looking him in the eye just made me ache in places that chilled me to the bone. I found the safety of the floor and rested my eyes on the dark carpet as I finished my drink. I placed the empty soda bottle back in the holder and leaned back in my seat. Still fixated on me, his gaze made me feel like prey, but it didn't make me want to run away. The sound of the hatch slamming shut made me jump, and the plane went dark. Silence draped us, with only the engine's howl sputtering to life.

I guess he could feel the thickness in the air from my anxiety because his hand found mine. My back clung to the seat as we took off, and I closed my eyes, counting back from ten as I prayed for my grilled cheese to stay in my stomach.Once the plane leveled out, the lights turned on but dimmed to a warm hue, and Aiden didn't let go of my hand either. It was an odd feeling. Just the two of us, alone. With his fingers still intertwined with mine, he leaned back in his seat and tugged.

"Aiden…?" I let my words trail off.

The strength of his pull was unyielding, and by the time he let go of my hand, I was situated between his legs and on my knees. I couldn't even fight the fact that I felt comfortable in this position. Being so close to him, with his legs like steel bars enclosing me, broke down my walls. He tucked his finger under my chin, demanding my attention, and eased in until his warm breath tickled the shell of my ear.

"Are you my good girl?"

I nodded and let my butt sink further to the ground.

He growled, and placed my hands on his muscular thighs. "Good, because daddy's got a hard dick, and it's begging for a release.

A sudden flush of warmth spread through me at his words, exuding a sense of dominance and protection, something I craved for so long. The raspy sound of his zipper coming undone filled the air, and then his monstrous manhood sprung forward. Its swollen tip dripped a clear fluid, and I embarrassingly licked my bottom lip.

He told me to take off my top, and I hesitated but eventually did as instructed. The last man I got undressed in front of was Damien, and he made sure to berate me about my size every time. I soon became numb to his cruel words as I let them flow in one ear and out the other, but he still succeeded in stripping away a layer of my self-esteem with the whip of his tongue.

"Bra…"

The deep timbre in his voice made my mouth water, and I let the straps of my bra fall down my shoulders. Exposed, with bare breasts and pebbled nipples, he fixated. My arms found a comfortable position in front of my stomach, and he touched my arm, forcing them away.
