GWEN

Imet Kaio’s kiss with one of my own, equally passionate.

I twined my arms around his neck, and he lifted me up, sliding one enormous hand under my ass to support me while I wrapped my legs around his waist, locking my ankles behind him.

Even through our stretchy black uniforms, the heat of his body scorched me, driving my desire for him higher.

The hard length of him pressed against me, distracting me for a moment.

His cock must be huge.

“It is,” he replied aloud, but with a mental grin, his relief at having saved me suffusing him with a kind of reckless joy.

I pulled away from him, already laughing. “There must be a way to turn that mind-reading thing off.”

I don’t care. I want to know everything about you, he replied mentally as he cupped the back of my head in his giant palm and pulled me toward him to claim my lips again.

His tongue flickered in and out of my mouth, winding around mine in a way I could never have done.

I rested atop the enormous bulge in his uniform for several seconds before I realized it had begun to move, too, swirling around and tapping against me, then sliding up between us, rubbing in just the right spot, as if he could sense exactly where I wanted to be touched.

I can.

Wet heat flooded my core, and I groaned deep in my throat.

Kaio echoed the noise, turning it into a growl in his throat.

You are mine, little human. Even his mental voice was tinged with a deep growl.

I am, I thought, and the idea froze me in place for a split second. Then I pulled away, pushing against his chest and scrambling to get him to put me down.

“What’s wrong?” Kaio asked, his thoughts echoing his confusion.

“No,” I said. “I can’t. I have a life back on Earth, a job I need to get back to, a home…”

Even as I said the words, though, I second-guessed myself.

A life? Maybe. I definitely had a job—one that took up all my time and energy. My home was a tiny Manhattan apartment where I lived by myself. I didn’t have time for a pet. Not even a cat.

The only friend I had was a coworker who had probably just been let go—or already were let go hundreds of years ago, back in my timeline.

I had no siblings, and my parents had died years ago, both now and in my own timeline.

So what did I have to go back for?

An ex-boyfriend who still had access to some of my bank accounts? Hell, he’d probably been glad when I’d left.

Disappeared.

Whatever they had called it.

I glanced around at our surroundings, noting the gorgeous, tropical flowers.

Still, did I really want to stay here? Trapped on an alien world where humans were considered useless except as the weaker partner in a vicious game of life or death?

Kaio reached out to cup my face, clearly having read my mind. “When we win these games, you can come home with me. My planet is beautiful. And we would be together.”

I shook my head. “Where I’d be...what? Your plaything? A pet? A sex-toy?”
