“Maybe it’s more local than that. A Hivemind just for our family.”
“Why?” Thuliak asked.
I shrugged. “Fuck if I know, but you do feel it, yeah?”
“Yes.”
“So it’s a good sign. A sign of hope. Something new is brewing, Thuliak, and we’re feeling it first. We gotta figure out what this is and make sure everyone knows to look out for it.”
“And how to use it strategically,” Thuliak said.

And then, as if to 100% confirm that we really were feeling something, we both felt something from the bunker, and our heads turned at the same moment.

“She won’t stop us from going down there now,” he said.
