“It feels great,” I told Harry, sinking deeper into the seat. “Especially since I’ve got you at my side.”

Harry only drove a little ways down the road before he eased the car to the side, tires crunching over the gravel. “Very romantic,” he mused, putting the car into park. He reached over to run his fingers through my hair then, winding around my curls. “I figured I’d wait to kiss you until your family couldn’t see.”

Gosh, I’d never get used to the way he looked at me, the simmering Caribbean waters full of amusement and happiness, like a serious ray of sunshine on Earth. His auburn hair looked so vibrant in the light, so beautiful against his skin. So freaking beautiful.

So freaking mine.

“Let’s go achieve our dreams,” he murmured, leaning close enough that we shared the same breath.

I pressed my mouth against his, lingering, drawn in by his taste and scent and touch. All of him, all the time. Achieving my dreams? Facing the future? Finding freedom? I gripped him tighter, knowing I’d dive into all of that headfirst.

Against his mouth, I murmured, “Together.”
