“No. God, no. Truth or dare!”

“Is that exactly what it sounds like?” Zara leans into my side, whispering conspiratorially.

Her breast presses against my arm, and I close my eyes. Get a fucking grip. It’s a simple touch through layers of clothing. It’s not like she’s rubbing her hand all over my dick.

“It is.” I barely manage to choke out the words.

“Okay, then.”

“Come on, everyone sit in a circle.”

“Wait, are we playing truth or dare or spin the bottle?” Ezra waggles his eyebrows as he holds up a bottle. Four very distinct growls are aimed at him. Seems like none of the bonded pairs like that idea.

“You’d have to play without half of us, if that’s the case.” Archer doesn’t look amused at Ezra’s suggestion.

“Whoa, okay. Just teasing. I don’t want to make out with you anyway, Archer.”

“The only person you’re lying to is yourself.” Archer shakes his head.

“Not to mention that half of us are related…so…barf.” Ruby punctuates her words by pretending to throw up.

“What do we do?” Zara sits cross-legged on the floor, and I lower myself into a spot next to her, my legs stretched out in front of me. Miri and Davis join Archer and Lena on the couch. Ezra and Ruby each take one of the chairs that sits on either end of the couch, essentially across from one another.

“You want to go first, little Z,” Ezra says, and Zara’s face shows her surprise at the new nickname.

“Oh, okay. If you tell me what I need to do.”

“You need to get naked and run around the outside of the house,” Ezra deadpans and Zara’s forehead wrinkles.

“That’s how the game starts?” Zara narrows her eyes at Ezra. She looks a hell of a lot like Ruby right now.

“No, Ezra's being a dickhead. First, you have to pick if you want to answer a question, which is truth, or do a dare. If you choose not to answer or do the dare once it’s put out there, then you have to drink,” I tell her.

“Got it. Truth, then.”

“Which one of us do you think is the best looking?” Ezra winks at her and Ruby throws a handful of candy at him. She’s too far away though, and most of it lands on me and Zara. Zara picks up a skittle from her lap and thoughtfully chews on it before she answers.

“Ruby. Obviously.” Zara turns and blows a kiss at Ruby. Ruby pretends to catch it and tucks it into the pocket of her ridiculous pajamas.

“I meant which guy,” Ezra huffs.

“You didn’t say that.” Zara laughs, finding a few more Skittles and tossing them into her mouth.

“Saying you think Ruby’s hot is basically like complimenting yourself because the two of you look like twins.”

Zara shrugs. “Is that the whole game? One truth and then we argue with Ezra for the rest of the night?”

Ruby mocks wiping away a tear as Ezra flops back in his seat with his arms crossed. “I’m so proud of you, sister. You’ve learned so much already.”

“From the worst influence possible,” Ezra grumbles.

“Now you pick someone.” I nudge Zara with my shoulder. If we let Ruby and Ezra go on, they’ll argue for hours.

“Ruby, truth or dare?”

“Dare.” Ruby threads her fingers together and stretches them out like she needs to limber up.

“I dare you to only speak in compliments to Ezra for the rest of the night.”
